Awesome man this is really a life changing experience, im 25 a couple weeks ago I was moving out and picked up a box off the floor my heart rate went up im not sure how much but it went super fast my vision went blurry and i was a second away from passing out I was lucky enough to jump in the bath with all my clothes and put on cold water that helped me alot I relaxed that day when I woke up the next day I was just not feeling the same as energetic so I decided to go to the emergency and they checked me up and saw that I had wpw, im now 2 weeks post ablation feeling much better I still have small heartbeat skips but my heart is not rushing like it did before, hopefully in a couple weeks I can go back to working out and live my life without fear & I thank god for this ❤️

I saw a shooting star while watching this, terrified of my ablation. Now I have much more assurance. WPW is scary.

steven sanchez hi :). I was diagnosed with wpw when I was 2 years old. I’ve had three ablations (at 3 years old, 6 years old, and 10 years old), two of which were unsuccessful. However, my last ablation that I had when I was 10 was successful :). The recovery for the surgery is not too hard, I’m sure your son will be just fine! My first two were unsuccessful because my heart was too small to go through with the procedure without burning or freezing the node that keeps my heart beating, so I’m sure he won’t have that problem since he is 17 years old and his heart should be big enough. I’m 15 now and I can say that the surgery was very much worth it. My form of wpw was very severe, which is rare, and it was a tough ride but I got through it. I’m sure your son will be alright in no time. Just try to stay strong and remember to be positive! I wish you and your son the best, and good luck on the surgery :) I hope this helped to ease your mind a bit, have a great day!

I had my surgery in 2013, unfortunatley i need a 2nd surgery. Ive been on disability since 2014 and wpw is alot more serious tha. CZcams doctors claim, i just watched the top 5 videos and they say its very common WHEN IN FACT IT IS NOT VERY COMMON. i had never heard about this sy drome nore had anyone i knew until i was diagnosed and we all learned.....that should tell you its not as common as these doctors on youtube say. The surgery is also VERY painful...not.in your chest but in your groin where they drill the holes i was bruised all the way up into my belly button area....i found medication to be the riskiest area of this syndrome...i suffered angina with alot of medications...my suggestion is ablation or nothing. I wish your son the best of luck!

Jameson Kilpatrick 100% facts !! Not sure if you read my comment but I also had wpw and had to go through 3 ablations just to get it right and it is definitely a lot harder and rarer than all the CZcams videos make it out to be.

@@babyhannah3884 yes i did! Im glad we can be here to give a realistic perspective on this syndrome! I feel like most of the youtube doctors claims are kind of providing incorrect information as far as how common it is...and they also dont get into the more severe cases such as mine....i can see my heat beat through my stomach and it even makes my arms and chest move with each pump...my 1dt surgery stopped the 210 beats per minute down to 100 but the arrhythmias and palpitations are still way out of the norm...im glad your here to help give realistic info...luckily technology is on our side for wpw now! Goodluck to all patients with wpw and dont give up!

Jameson Kilpatrick exactly!! It’s so important to have actual representation for people with conditions and disabilities, like wpw, which is so rare that we almost never hear about it. No one in my family and no one at my school had ever heard of it, including the school nurse, until they heard about me. It can also be so severe, like our cases, and the way that these videos seem to dumb it down can make people with wpw feel that their symptoms and feelings caused by the condition are invalidated. (although of course there are cases where symptoms go unnoticed). It is super nice to talk to others with the same experience, and I’m glad that you’re here too to talk about wpw and what it is really like! :)

Great to see your fixed ❣ l got diagnosed with this in my 20,s and now I’m 38 , seems to affect me when I’m just sitting. My heart rate can go to 200 and I stop it by holding my breath. It doesn’t effect me if I run but it’s starting to worry me that if I leave it be will I eventually die from it ?

I am also a WpW syndrome patient, I have been experience tremors since I was 12 years old. This syndorme has put a huge barrier in my daily activities, I really wanna get rid of it I get tremors almost once in every 5-6 months. Please tell me how can I be treated and would surgery be nevessary for the treatment?

Dev Yadav I had wpw from age 2 to 10 (I’m 15 now) and my biggest piece of advice is to find yourself a really good and experienced cardiologist. If you are offered the option of surgery, I would do it, but of course it depends on how bad it is for you. Because some people can go with just medicine and they are fine. Whatever fits your needs! However, my case was extremely severe and if I hadn’t gone through with surgery my cardiologist thought I would die before adulthood, so I did the surgery. I’d say it was really worth it for me. Best wishes to you :)

Robyn Donald Pedido Relato Yes you can get heart surgery. I believe my dad had to have six before it was finally fixed but I’ve heard of people who only need like two.

Yes and no. Vasovagal stimulation made mine worse, and I ended up having my worst attack while I was throwing up during a migraine. Basically try holding your breath and pressing down with your diaphragm. Otherwise an emt will try to shock you back to rhythm or the hospital will push drugs to slow the heart. Didnt work for me, but shock pads did. Ended up in the icu for two days
