Subtitles are not completely finished. Working on the last parts as I type, so if the quality of them suddenly drops you know why.
I've still proofed read them and fixed any spelling errors. Will update when I'm finished
Aya Brea - my go to example, right next to Koudelka Iasant for how to write good main heroines without needing to follow marketing groups’ takes on what they *think* feminism is.
This was, I think the longest video I've watched of yours. You make great content. I've watched your Kodelka video at least 30 times, maybe more. Love your videos. I hope you find success on youtube.
Its nice seeing you do this! I've always been interested in this game so thanks!
Also I'm in the video, well my name is anyway!
Perfect timing! Was just looking for something to watch!
The issue isn't necessarily the placement of the keys, but there's a reason why survival horror games with pre-rendered backgrounds have items indicated with a sparkle.
nice use of the Hard edge music when you explained the chrysler building

My best guess is:
Skeleton (father skeleton?) sat in a chair reading a newspaper on the left. Two more skeletons on the couch to the right, with one laying on top of the other who is sitting down. Another skeleton (child skeleton?) on the floor playing with some kind of electronic device.
Why is this a display? What does it mean? Some kind of commentary on the spiritual death caused by modern American society; each member of the family an almost-indistinguishable walking undead? Some kind of bizarre human zoo but the people were turned to skellies due to immolation ala the people at the opera? Who fucking knows!
Honestly? Parasite Eve, despite several issues that you can chalk up to the era it was made in, is incredible. I really wish that the only sequel (WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THE THIRD BIRTHDAY) was able to capture that same classic Squaresoft energy.
You did a great job talking through how this game feels to play. The connection between it and the novel + movie gets... More complicated... As you make your way through the other games. I hope that you have a chance to look at them for the sake of critique. Loving your videos so far!
great video, looking forwards to the next one funny rat man
Sometimes you really have to look past the inherent shenanigan's some games pull in regards to things like that key. For those of you who know where that coin flip comes from... you know all too well
I like Parasite Eve 2 more.
Finished PE1 like 3-4 times. Over time battle system get me tired.
This game got a lot of tasty atmoshpere, music, cinematics.
But PE2 gave me a lot more fun. Had its own unsettling atmoshpere, but game play is the key.
Most of all you really feel diffrences in weapons a lot more.
I recommend at least try Bounty mode.
Ofc all 4 difficulty options are neat, especialy Nightmare mode - I will never forget that experience,
I only wish this beautiful game can have Aya animation speed up a bit when I play it on emulators nowadays. This game walking and running speed is very slow.
I'm pretty sure I got stuck on both Opera house and Zoo keys myself🙂.
Cant believe they made a whole game about a Bring me the Horizon song
Midocondria 🤮🤮🤮🤮
