I have been canary sitting for over a month now and I told the lady who owns the bird it's probably a good idea to keep her bird a while longer for the reasons you give for molting birds. I also notice you have a simple setup of perches and plenty of room for your birds to fly around. I removed all of the toys hanging from the bird cage and made the setup as simple as possible. 😊
Thanks for the tips. Which kind of apple cider (the clear one)? And how do you use Calcilux (it didn't understand)? Do you soak vegetables in it and then give them to your bird? What about boiled eggs and egg food? I'm also really curious about what cage you're using. I'm looking for a cage just like that!

Separate her first from the male . Its better if you keep her with other female . Do not remove her cage all the time . Divers her diet
