I still can't quite tell if Midas is bad or good. He's trying to do a good thing in the best way he knows how, but the things he's doing are kinda corrupt. For example, he wants to save his daughter from his mistake but the only way he knows how to do that is by killing or detaining until a safer extraction is presented for a host of "The Light". Personally I think Midas is still good, he just can't quite let go of his past. If he would just let go he would see all his new friends and acquaintance's that he has made.
And just to put it out there, when Midas's time is up on the channel I think he should either die a great hero and/or boss man (No ghosts this time) or he should retire to his own little shack and live there for the rest of his days (The shack has to be located on a far away island where there are no worries (Not an attachment to the main Island))
I think he is good at heart. However what a lot of us canât understand is the pain of child loss. Now you might argue that over time he would get over it but that is hard when the very thing (Oro) that gave you the power keeps taunting you about it. I think Midas goals have become mixed. His intent was to save his daughter at first, but he has so much hate towards Oro that that has taken the forefront in his life. That anger is being taken out on his agents as it builds.
