Gated manual, N/A flat-plane crank V8, 8500 rpm redline. I'd take this over any of its successors 👍🏼

Timeless design.
No stupid big headlights like on the Ferrari 812 for example. I hate those. A bit smaller like the 430 and the 599 looks soo much better.
@@jortepap i like simplicity, i dont need tire temperature or pressure, i have feeling for that... I don't need a computer in my dash to turn on AC, I don't need a rev limiter in passanger airbag... As little technical cupcakes as posible, to be maximum connected to the machine and road

While not universally celebrated as much as the 458, these were certainly a spirited car and still has decent legs today. And with a gated 6 speed, it's dipping deep into purist territory! As many 430s as I've seen, this was my first with a genuine kph speedo, which is kind of interesting to see where the readouts have numerated priority.
Best Ferrari the sound and it's manual doesn't get better then this and I heard it handles like a dream

I have an F430 Spider here in Australia. Man ... I LOVE this car
Two changes make this car perfect… Headers with a Capristo Level 3 race exhaust and 458 Carbon seats. Huge improvement in exhaust note and power and updates the interior tremendously. Love mine alongside a proper DCT STO.

Absolutely incredible! When you accelerated to more than 200km, I breaked the car with my feet on the ground of my house...kkk In Brazil, you can not exceed 120km in the highways. Congrats!

@@joe125ful their old V12 tone is glorious. It’s raspy and metallic. The current v12 engine doesn’t sound great imo.
I mean its basically a 2x flat plane inline 4. a lot of inline 6s also sound a lot like v12s since v12s are also just 2x inline 6s

About 205 mph from the old V8, not bad, and a manual. Wonder how stiff the clutch is? ..... lol at the warm up comment.
As a F430 owner, i absolutely love the car and am always amazed at how fast the car still is these days, but personally i see absolutely no reason at all to convert it to a manual....

Is the gear indicator broken?
New from the factory the gear display only functioned with the F1 cars. It was always blank with MT cars. Having said that, since this is a conversion maybe they should have kept the display working.

Nobody let's their motor warm up anymore. People would complain about Alfas leaking oil all the time but never let the oil warm up so it is less viscous. I think this poor Ferrari would have a longer engine life if you keep the revs down until the engine temperature gauge starts to move. A new motor in this car is probably 50k.
I agree. Just some light driving until it gets up to operating temps, then have at it.

Water temp was already half way up the gauge when he started it. He seems mechanically sympathetic by how he drives it too.
