wish these games were more popular. i try to do my part but it's disheartening when you have to wait forever to get into a game with already limited free time :(
Chunk ia pretty good, shroud just isnt use to having a delay on his shots. And he didnt even bother to use the 3-round rifle which would have been mkre his style 23:30
7 people playing this game... I used to play Diabotical when it was a quake clone now it's just another team based arena shooter It's fun, well optimized, fast and even without strafe movement it has similar feeling but it's nothing new and there are no people playing it :(
When it was a Quake clone it was also nothing new and dead. imo something like UT MonsterHunt in a rogue mode would be cool, cuz then you don't need other players to play the game.
Can someone explain why ex-pro players always seem to have negative opinions on the game that gave them a career? I don't get it. His consistent dig on CS is quite amusing.
Because they disagree with changes made to the game and that's their opinion? Are you saying that because they made their career on a product, they're not allowed to have an opinion on said product?
@@DimitriSabadie the only thing i see with this move from 2GD studio that this will only draw in a few players who are new or just welcome the new game changes and that's fine. the only people that will NOT like the changes are the Quake 3 area purists or some that liked the OG Diabotical. Also developers can invent new ideas if they want too.
This is so so bad. Dbt was terrible, but this is just cash grab and scam. Should have been game mode in Dbt at max, but even then nobody would play it.
Valorant works much better on console than CS because it has abilities to fall back on and create dynamic strategic outplay with when you surpass the skill ceiling of the aim assist. CS on console would just be 10 people aim assisting each other to death and not very interesting.
Shroud seems to have avoided arena shooters despite claiming to be able to play any shooter. Seeing him play this diabotical class based alternative makes me think he didn't want to enbarass himself on stream by getting farmed. Guess all the aimlock he did through walls in cs and other games didn't make him as good as he thought. 😂
diaboticle child game.... look to raven firefrog animal name developer to make kid player happy like children show.. diaboticle cartoon world with rainbow unlike quake champion with dark corridorr and tunnel like castle.. diaboticle like playhouse. diabotical playor run from champons fear of dark world and lovecraft so need child game to relax
Yeah he's going to be as good as a guy whos played quake for 25 years... get a grip on reality. There is so much more to quake style games than aim alone, watching shroud try and use a rocket launcher should be enough evidence. Honestly an insult to rapha.
What do you mean at the raphas level in no time? In aiming maybe, but he'll never reach Rapha's dueling skills/knowledge by just learning the movement.
@@judge462 I mean, that doesn't sound that delusional. Look at some other great pro players, that play quake for just a few years and are young (like Strongsage), and are on Rapha level (almost). There are many talented gamers out there, who just play different games.
There is absolutely no way he’ll get even close to rapha’s level in terms of map control and placement. Most Quake pro-players are years ahead in terms of training, and that also explains the huge skill gap in the QC community.
@@DimitriSabadie There is absolutely a way. Its not about how long you play, it's about how consistent at playing are you. Younger quake pro players like Strongsage or maybe Serious, are definitely at Rapha level (almost), and they play quake for just a few years. There are exceptionally talented players out there that play different games, like Shroud. He has aim and map awereness from other games, all he need is item timing, and a bit of movement and physics adjusment, and judging by his talent, if he is consistent enough at practising, he could be near Rapha level in just a year.
genuinely cool to see him playing this
It looks like mix of Quake and Halo.
The game was made by quake players or game designers. Can’t remember which one.
@@dtxfaded 2GD is the head of the studio and he's a former pro Quake player

Don't know this guy... what game does he play most of the time?
he plays lots of fps games but he used to be on csgo esports
famous for CS and pubg historically, but plays a bunch of random stuff now.

Why isn't he using LG? Lol
The Shaft sucks in DBT Rogue.

it's easy to hate something once you've poured thousands of hours into it and made it your career
They don't, it's just Shroud. Dude will shit on games he doesn't want to play any more.
Good game on its own but it's not quake.
And that’s okay. If we want more players to play with, we have to accept to move on from Quake and try something new.

I suggest trying a platform where you don't need an algorithm to do the aiming for you.

Overall the game is good but the map design.... It look lithe the labyrinth.. No action just simulator of walking..
Looks like Quake for kids TBH
I played quake as a kid...lmao. What relevance does "for kids" even have? 🤣🤣
