Steps to make friends like this:
Step 1: Never say to yourself you cant do something.
Step 2: Learn to ride motocross.
Step 3: Go to track/club join.
Step 4: Make new friends.
Step 5: Awesome shit like this video will happen..

This stuff is what makes dirt bike riding awesome. I'm an ex pro AMA racer, now I'm 56yrs of age and this is my haven, love it, hope you enjoyed it also. It's a break from the normal grind of MX/SX which back in my day was a way to learn balance and flexability
No music, straight to the video, equals great material.
this how i like to edit my vids as well. seems to work out
I was your 600th like. Congrats

I think I’d rather hear the sound of the engine over music to
i would give that a 6/10
Jeff, I love the trail/desert riding. The track is cool and all but I like the change for a little while. I know your roots are probably track riding but I think this trail adventure riding is pretty cool👍🏻
Oh yea and don’t forget to clean your air filter after😂
Where’s this at
Where is this place at in CA
Riding in Idaho was a blast. The hill climbs and scenery in the mountains will always be remembered.
These are definitely the kind of videos I like. I love exploring and finding new riding spots. Specially when you got a few friends to ride with. #KEEPONKEEPINGON!

Enjoy your dirt riding times with your buddies. Someday you will find a girl, fall in love, have kids, and have grand-kids but the dirt biking passion never quite seems to leave your body. Then you get old and get a cruiser motorcycle and that kinda quenches the dirt bike passion just enough to keep you sane. Street riding while being fun is a poor substitute for the thrill of dirt riding. Dirt riding on new trails and through nature is like walking into wedding reception with lots of pretty girls and you are the only guy! I feel like that is why the supermoto line has steadily gained much popularity as riders are trying to replicate the dirt ride on the street. I would love to just take one ride with you guys.
If I could bring back one riding experience in my life it would be with myself and my buddy Tom. I was in 7th grade and he was in 6th. We had a massive snowfall in Michigan and then as we slept we had a very rare for Mid Michigan winter sleet storm. School was called off so I spent the night at his house. We stayed up late in his garage with a wood fired heater, radio playing country music because WPLB (the country giant) was the only station the old transistor would pull in out in the workshop but we didn't care. We knew all the rock and all of the country songs.
Spending time with your buds was made fun regardless of the task at hand. We heard thunder and looked outside after a couple of hours of being in the shop. Sometimes we would just sit around the fire and talk about the future ideas, girls, more ideas and more girls. Sometimes we would take an ax and split a piece of wood. Then take the half and split it again each time choosing the largest piece. Pretty soon we were down to a sliver of wood the size of a pencil and it was a fireside competition so to speak. Boys seem to always make a competitive game out of just about anything. As we looked outside we could see the old willow tree starting to strain from the ice that had slowly begun to collect on the branches. After a few days of zero degree weather and then light rain it is an amazing thing to see. We then lifted My Honda-50 C-110 model and his Suzuki 80 very similar looking up on the work bench. These were both scrambler motorcycles with a high pipes and some used knobby tires that we had purchased and put on. We adjusted the chain's cleaned the plugs, cleaned and adjusted the breaker points and timing. We checked the oil, made sure all the wiring was good tested the lights and topped off the gas tanks.
The next morning after breakfast and after bundling up in our snowmobile suits we went on a walk across the yard to the workshop. As you looked across the fields and woods the trees sparkled like diamonds in the sunlight. The willow tree had a massive branch broken off and was laying in the yard. sometime later Tom told me to take a small piece of that tree and stuck it in the ground in at my house so I did. Although neither myself or my parents still live there the now massive willow tree is still growing in the back yard.
As we walked away from beneath the trees the snow started to support our entire weight. We looked over at the 5 and 6 food drifts in his yard. Immediately with out saying a word we both ran over to the drifts. You could walk across the top of the snow like it was pavement. We walked up the side of the barn bridge hill across a massive drift. We could not believe our eyes as some snow drifts would be 6 feet deep had somehow overnight had been converted to natures pavement. The wind had blown hard a day or so before and created all sorts of mogels in the snow like a motocross track that had been ridden over a thousand times. However nature has a way of making everything very smooth but with a rough surface kind of like 5 grit sandpaper. Yes the ice was slippery but different from the ice on a pond. This was textured with little pencil eraser sized bumps that while being slippery still offered a fair amount of traction. The snow was so high that many of the drifts were above fences that divided the farmers properties so you could literally ride down the fence row until you saw a drift and then cross over to explore another huge area.
We rode the entire day, up hills, through swamps over the roads, Across the deep county drainage ditches snow bridges had formed so we even had the nerve to cross over one of them. We then went through the woods across ponds and into the little neighboring towns. It was truly one the most amazing riding experiences of our lives.
Later in life we both got into racing motocross and building our own AMA sanctioned track but that single day and very icy memory still lives deep within my soul. Unfortunately my buddy Tom passed on to the other side about 10 years ago so I only have like minded folks out there like you to share this memory with. So please keep these fun times in your mind as when you get old like myself your memories are very much like a valuable collection of precious gems.

I really like this video. I like the editing and how you showed the progression of how you were nervous at first doing the jump and hill climb and then became comfortable with them. I need a group of buddies like that.
Dude two days ago my sister took me to the Hoosier nationals over in Springfield Missouri. It was the best time of my life, I told my dad " I'm going to race." and I can't believe how much fun this really is. You are amazing.

This trail riding is sick you should do more
There's no one out there, who wouldn't enjoy this video. To this 60-year-old grunt, it's strange not to hear that popcorn popper Melody of the two-stroke. This CRF tracted really good. I am impressed. Grew up in the Coachella valley, Southern California. Sea level, 3 to 5 years 0 precipitation. A motorcycle wonderland, now covered by suburbia. Only exist in my memory now. This place reminds me of McCain valley, same type of trails.
This was so awesome!! I would love a ride like that. Thanks for sharing this with us. That land out there is beautiful too.

Dude watching you moto guys try desert riding for the first time is honestly so wholesome. Keep it up, it's fun, I promise! Plenty of that kind of thing to go around in the southwest.
This video gave me the biggest sense of nostalgia from when I used to ride in California
Cal City, Barstow, El Mirage...yes.
I love content like this. Me and my dad did this exact thing every weekend for years. It was kind of our ritual of special time together to enjoy nature, riding and making memories. Now my dad is in Heaven but at least I have the precious memories we made and I know that one day we will ride together again. He would of loved to get to ride at a place like this.
❤
This was such a pleasure to watch, I was grinning from ear to ear throughout the whole thing!
I wish we had places like this to ride in Australia...
Thanks for the awesome video.
THAT WAS SOOOO SICKKKKK
I was wide eyed and giggling the entire time watching this video!..Thanks for sharing!
The coolest riding video I’ve seen yet. It has been some time since I’ve thrown a leg over, and I miss it dearly. I had always hoped to go riding out in Cali one day, but I never made it. This is a great demonstration of what it’s like there. The huge hills, natural jumps and rollers. Thanks for the video

Love these kind of videos! Keep em coming
That video does zero justice to how steep that hill is! We used to live out in Phelan and ride those hills all the time! Military moved me to Texas so thank you for posting this and bringing back good memories! 🤙🏻
I love the video. It’s awesome to see an experienced rider get out. It teaches me a lot.

They make it look bigger than it actually is. If u say a car was really close, it seems super far in the gopro.
This videos rocks no long intro , straight into the action
Used to do this hill climb stuff in Bonnydoon in Austrailia...brought back so many good memories watching this guys!!
I’m thinking that Jeff should get a enduro bike because he looked like he had a major blast
Just like 90% of moto riders. I love my mx but there's only so many times I can go around in the same circle until I get bored, enduro is always fun because the options are limitless!!!
That wasn’t enduro - that was just hitting a flat out hill...but yes he should definitely get into it
Jay Smokey soften the clickers (maybe dial the rear rebound up a hair) and practice that seat bounce! And you're good to enduro haha
As soon as you said, "Wish you guys could be here..." I was already saying it. I have never been to anywhere like that all thick forest up here. Looked amazing!!
thanks, Jeff, Great ride! Big fun watching you guys

Great video and riding. I'm 83, used to boondock in the 70's riding a 250 Ossa enduro with a M/c jug & piston. turned our to be a wild combination. Thanks for the video.
loved it, you should do more of these kind of videos. that hill climb was sick.
Damn, that crazy that you were nervous. When I used to go to dove springs in cali, i would always end up finding the biggest, steepest or most rutted and fucked up hills I could find on my kx250f. Those were so easy and fun, but I always got nervous at tracks hitting bigger jumps. Good videos, I like these.
Thanks for the ride!
Great video! Knee's in the breeze is what it's all about for everyone even before racing! Looks like a really fun scenic ride. I'm from Ohio and I have not experienced riding places like that yet myself. Thanks for all of your great videos and for your dedication to sharing your experiences!
so nice to see and very entertaining! like to see more of this. keep it up!! and stay save.
If you ever ride the trails of northern Michigan you can find some pretty gnarly hills that take a few tries to get up. They're tight, steep, and super sandy.
This is the truth
Grew up in Mid Michigan and saw mostly flat land until i went to Atlanta, Gaylord, and the like. But when I moved out here to California, I was highly impressed, and it never gets old. always amazed.
With no half mile run up either lol
Not to mention Drummond Island, the whole thing is basically an ORV park
just awesome guys, it feels like i should get there and ride with you guys !
