One world, for all the nations, one chance for God's creation One sky, for all the children, one light for hope and freedom Arise from deep damnation, survive discrimination Alive - a big sensation, we are THE HERO NATION Epic Song
Growing up with a very religious mother, and thinking of life the way I do, this song resonates fairly well with me. Even today my mother will argue with me, trying to convince me that God is real, and I of course argue back, trying to point out any faults in what she says. I however can't say that he isn't truly real, as I don't know if that's true. I think the person who says there is no conceivable way for God to exist, is just as ignorant as the one who preaches that God surely must exist. There are many issues in philosophy as in what is the "good life" or the "mind and body" problem which we have no answer to, the existence of God is just one more. This song however seems to be pointing out similar to how I feel about life. "Holy Father, can you here us." This is a bit how many of us feel today when we ask things like "If God is real, then why do we have all these problems." We're indirectly crying out to see if someone is hearing us. Then it seems that they open their minds to come up with a solution. "Why don't we try to open the eyes, for a better world tomorrow". Well maybe God exists, maybe he doesn't, but does that really matter? He's obviously not making a presence here at the moment, and perhaps we need to stop sitting around waiting for the answers and pick up where he left off. This is all poetic of course, perhaps he didn't start because he didn't exist, but that's not important, what we need is to step up and become Gods ourselves for humanity. If he exists, then he should look happy upon what we did for people, and if he doesn't like it... well we'll be one nation and I'd be happy to join in a fight to bring such an immoral God down. If we're made in his image, I'm sure a couple of billion of us would be able to dethrone him. "I know I am intelligent because I know that I know nothing"
+vurtualboy Well said, although if said being could be thrown down, then said being isnt really the Clasical Christian concept of God.. one that is infinite a googleplex of people /= infinite. Not to mention an infinite atemporal being that throws time and space out the window. Im glad you can appreciate the song.. the way you interpret the lyrics I think is a kin to how the phrase goes "there is no atheist in fox holes". As Christian this song resonates in my soul as well. Not quite the same angle obviously though, but its a classic Judaic-Christian dialogue to call out God when things don't seem right in the world. Give Lamentations a read.. a book written in the old testament during what could be consider some of Israel's darkest times.
Vexor1011 Are you on crack? Do you seriously believe the tripe that you write? Everything in life happens for a reason. If a supervolcano erupts and wipes us out, it's not just 'random shit'. There's an explanation for ice ages, dementia, cancer. Wars. There's always a reason - stupid people are simply unable to see the reasons and would rather attribute things to chance or fate instead. Hypothetically speaking, If a tree falls on you and kills you tomorrow, shit happens, but there's an explanation (most likely the tree would be rotting and structurally weakened for example, or grown at a poor angle, or gale-force winds, whatever.) Don't go telling people to 'get wiser' if you're going to spout such utter nonsense. Maybe you believe in biblical miracles that occur for no reason whatsoever, but I'll leave that to you.

@Phester11 More like 1 person was abandoned from the hero nation.
nope the intro makes me think of the deku palace from majoras mask
Don't even worry about that; I'll have these in my video games - very similar to Zelda dungeons combined with an RPG.
Is it me or does every Freedom Call song fit in Zelda?

Awesome melody. A bit cheesy, but awesome melody nonetheless.
Considering the events happening in current times would you think the same? I believe it is kind of prophetic...

ares647 -- wrong, and if you actually did the hours of research that I have, you'd begin to realize just how wrong you are. Nothing just happens.
Things do "Just Happen"
Sorry you cannot see that.
Maybe when you get wiser.

Will Davis Things don't align themselves up. That ain't how time works.
Well, no reason to dignify you with a reply after Will put you in your place.
Daniel Mason Ah...Kay. You clearly don't understand "Trolls", Friend.
HERO NATION = NO NATIONS
good riff, good lyrics...but bad singing...
Rubbish.
No.
Yes
Libor Jindracek No. You only came here to call it rubbish. Sad.
How the heck do you listen to something like this and the first word that comes to mind is "Rubbish."?
You are rubbish.
