A few tips from years of roller skiing: After many sessions the carbide in the ferrules may get a little loose as the plastic deforms. Sten Fjeldheim taught us to drip a bit of super glue down along the carbide and plastic. free a wet session, I agree with Mr. Newell’s treatment, but I also like to rip a bit of moisture displacement lube like T9 or WD 30 on the bearing and shaft to get rid of water, and then wipe off any excess. I find it prolongs the life of the bearings.

Love your video. At 230 I can barely flex the 620 stiff model. The only RS I have heard that flex to the ground was the RS Graphite classic in the 1980's One of the Caldwell's said at 140 wet he could scrape the bottoms!

7:54 ...the tips last the whole summer if you only roller ski for one day. My tips last about one training session before they are extremely dull, and they are carbide (same as marwe). 11:24 Shock absorb-er tips are AWESOME (as they improve initial tip contact with the asphalt via vibration reduction/touch-down-chatter-reduction)... when used with a shock absorbing handle the performance improves even more... and the experience is all the more pleasurable (more power, faster, harder, better, stronger).

Hi, I just got Marwe roller skis but cannot figure out how to clip into them. Cannot find anything on line that shows you how to clip in. Don’t want to break anything. Never roller skied before

Haseen Sharma-Cooper hi! This will depend on the type of binding that is mounted on the skis and the type of boots you are trying to use. There are two popular types of XC bindings out there NNN or SNS. A lot of the newer boots these days use NNN which uses two grooves on the bottom of the boot to stand on the binding. Older SNS (often Salomon boots) have a single groove on the sole of the boot and these boots will not fit into a NNN binding.

Hey, any thoughts on which rollerski discipline (skate or classic) would be better for summer telemark cross training?

Any different method for skate rollerskis? Hard to push them on flat ground to get a bearing. I've bought them new and previously replaced wheels, and now for the first time one tilts...

Hello, why is important to mount the binding as back as possible?

If you get classic rollerski with a slow speed rating, can you make it fast for a race or to keep up with a group or work speed?

We use finsisu for Marwe skis. you can order swix skis on the Swix website. I really recommend the new Triac skis!
