It's folks song or traditional song from many region in Indonesia, it's like impossible to translate to english, every song have different regional language. But this medley folks song, different outfit and culture actually show about Indonesia diversity. Then you hear the speech from our first president Soekarno. Maybe you confuse why people at video crying, they hearing the Indonesia patriotic song, actually that's always have a sad of feeling.

Why is the creature in the final scene not "Garuda"? Why Dragon? The mythological creature in the last scene of “Wonderland Indonesia” is a manifestation of Antaboga (Ontobugo) and Garuda. In ancient Javanese wayang, Antaboga is the king of snakes who guards the bowels of the earth. Ruler of the "underworld". The figure of Antaboga or Naga is inherent in Javanese and Balinese culture. usually found in gamelan carvings, gates and gates as a symbol of "guardian". Physically Antaboga is more like a dragon, but we develop it by combining the gallant Garuda with its wings. As a symbol of the guardian of the world above and below. And on the forehead there is a symbol of "Surya Majapahit" which means Dewata Nawa Sanga. Nine guardian gods in every direction of the compass. Why not Garuda with its Pancasila? Garuda Pancasila is a symbol of the state which is certainly sensitive if imagined anciently. Because the symbol of the country is protected by law. That's a bit of a fairy tale. In my personal opinion, Indonesia is like a maze and puzzle game. Where tourists who visit are players and Indonesia is the place to play. Visiting Indonesia is actually not just for a vacation or honeymoon, but for adventure and exploring. Because in Indonesia there are so many categories that tourists can choose according to their wishes. Be it nature, entertainment venues, museums, shopping centers, culture, food, drinks, and more. Not only that, in 1 city in Indonesia there are lots of tourist attractions that tourists can choose for themselves, even tourist attractions with different nuances (That's only in 1 city, not including all of Indonesia). Then you will be able to find a lot of diversity, uniqueness, weirdness and other things in Indonesia according to the way of each traveler and their respective memories.
So my judgment (Personal opinion) : Indonesia is a place for adventure and exploration, not just a place for vacation. We tourists to Indonesia are players in the maze. Every city in Indonesia has different characteristics and too many categories. This is what is called an adventure game. Indonesia is perfect for tourists who are much more adventurous, discover the unique, know the great diversity, explore different natures and challenges.
    Thank you.

4:46 i think it’s awesome that they put the javanese lullaby “Tak lelo ledung” at that specific point, after several moment of silence and before the independence proclamation. The mother was lulling her child and also praying that the child will “bring honor to parents, and be the hero of the nation”. Awesome flow.

A little explanation from me about Indonesia.
Sabang to Merauke, Miangas to Rote Island. It has 17,504 islands, like a bridge, which connects, unites and binds diversity. Because diversity is a blessing that must strengthen unity, not the other way around. 718 recorded languages, 1 unifying language of the Indonesian nation, 300 ethnic groups, 1340 ethnic groups from east to west. 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩☺️🙏BHINEKA TUNGGAL IKA WHICH MEANS, DIFFERENT BUT STILL ONE. ☺️ thank u.

Hi Mawberry, thanks for doing this awesome reaction.
In case you get it wrong: the claim 'Indonesia is the most beautiful land in the Universe' at the beginning of the video, I guess was added for marketing purposes only. We all believe that every places are equally beautiful.
    Most people were asking:
What are those headpieces she wore?
Those headpieces (crowns) she wore called Tiara for females or Mahkota for males. In the past you must wear those kind of headpieces to identify yourself as a royal family member and normally made of gold and silver with diamond installed in the middle of it. Every diamond placed in a Tiara or Mahkota can't be just a normal diamond. It has to be something with a magical power.
Meanwhile, headpieces for the usual people are made of clothes.
Headpiece is one the most important outfits for almost every ethnic group in Indonesia. Even more important than shirts. In my original tribe and many others, we don't wear shirt for males, We usually wear 3 pieces of sarong (a loose cloth) to cover our waist up to the knee (No shirts on) and of course a headpiece. In my own tradition (Sasak in Lombok) headpiece isn't just an accessory. It is actually more as a symbol that you appreciate your head and to prove that you are responsible to protect it even from the heat.
Headpiece is the very first thing you wear when you're born. Your parent will have it made for you a month before you even born.
Nowadays, everyone can wear any kind of royal headpieces during their wedding ceremony and many other special occasions.
    What are they singing?
This video showcases 9 traditional folk songs from 9 ethnic groups out of 879 ethnic group existed in Indonesia. The main song is Padamu Negeri - One of our national anthems. As an Indonesian, there is no way you not gonna cry when singing or listening to that song. It is our oaths to the mother land. Our promises to the nation. And as the answer to the prayers of our parent which Alffy described perfectly through that young mother singing lullaby to her newly born son. A lullaby can't only be just a nice song to bring you to sleep, it consists a prayer, wishes and hopes of our parent to see us grow as someone useful to the nation. Nothing can make them happier than that.
What is that traditional musical instrument he's playing?
That musical instrument is a traditional Dayak instrument called Sape. You must check out UYAU MORI playing Sape SOLO which will bring you into the world of true relaxations.
Who did the speech and what is it about?
It was the original proclamation speech done by our first president Soekarno.
    Are those places real?
The buildings and nature scenery were all real but yes, CGI effects applied to make the video looks more cinematic.
Those floating buildings are; Rumah Gadang (Sumatera), Rumah Toraja (Toraja), Borobudur Buddhist temple (Jogjakarta), and Pura Ulun Danu (Bali). If I'm not mistaken, the Goddess statue where the singer starts her singing is at Royal Pitamaha, Ubud, Bali. Of course they're not floating in real except Pura Ulun Danu which situated on the lake.
What is the Symbol that awaken the dragon?
It is called Surya Majapahit or known as Dewata Nawa Sanga - The 9 Gods that protect the universe from 9 different dimension compass wise.
    What are those creatures?
The creatures you see at the end of the video are GARUDA and a Dragon known as Antaboga from the mythology of the ancient Majapahit kingdom . Antaboga is believed to be the guardian of the underearth dimension. That's why you will find it featured in many of our traditional carvings, crafts, and even in our architectural designs. Meanwhile, Garuda is the main symbol of our country (You can't really showcase it for commercial purposes because It's protected by law). Garuda itself is a huge gigantic bird that can only be found in Indonesia. And is believed by the Hindu as the main vehicle of God Vishnu.
    Where they shot this video?
    1. GWK - Garuda Wishnu Kencana in Bali which known as one of the biggest statues in the world.
    2. Royal Pita Maha, Ubud
    3. Taman Nusa, Bali
    4. Ubud Valley
    5. Baleurang, Ubud.
Note: Trust me, there are thousands of 'mysteries' yet to be unfold in Indonesia (Nusantara) and I guess, historian refused to dig deeper into it because they wanted us the be classified as a third class country. 'A 3rd class country that shared a lot of things in common including traditional language with many of the far far away lands like Hawaii, Fiji, Kiwi, and even the Greenlanders'.
By the way, thank you for the awesome reaction. It means a lot for all of us in Indonesia.

Indonesia has lots of ethnic.. Every ethnic has different traditional houses, traditional clothes, headpieces, languages, songs, instruments.. That makes indonesia "rich wonderland".. 😍
This video kinda mix few of those ethnic..
Btw, the lady who carried baby is singing with "Sinden" Technic.. Its like traditional "seriosa" From central java indonesia.. It needs special singing technic.. That's why they have different singer on that part..
The "band" part is mix with declaration of indonesia independence day.. It was declared by our first president Sukarno at 17 August 1945..
