Chael's brutalization of Jon Jones in just 2 minutes made me rethink life for a while...
Lawl😂get some new material already bruh
Can't let new material get close. Wannanow swoon.
Deadly. 😂
My toe broke watching that amazing toehold.
@@toyotaecwmy toe broke watching Jones toe break
Jones literally gives off serial killer vibes
Machida looked like he just died when he fell down and when Jones put those ground n pound shots on DC you can literally feel the hate that he had for him in every single punch
Yeah he slamming those elbows like he was trying to crush his skull....😮
Well give it time 😉 i wouldn't mark him of that list yet
Roid rage will do that
Yeah that ground n pound even made rogan feel weird cause he's friends with dc was brutal 😂 defo attempted murder
Yeah dropping machida like a bag of shit fertilizer and attempting murder on DC was wild. Also Francis stipe 2, was clearly race motivated.
Joe B waking up screaming and the commentary going "oh hes ok" always makes me laugh. Not because i find it funny but because it's one of the most uncomfortable things I've ever seen. Jones murdering machida is another one.
Joe b?
@@daltonevans3412 benavidez
@@daltonevans3412 Joseph benevidez or however you spell his last name. Just trying to be cool
That Valentina head kick was absolutely brutal. Also that Jones Machida sub was so vicious..
Valentina is my favorite female fighter of all time. That woman is a cold blooded killer
When Joseph B woke up screaming 😭😭
I think they traced that back to someone else if I remember correctly.
@@davidferrer678nope. Joseph B was screaming
@@davidferrer678That was definitely Joe, you can see his body twitch back to consciousness
Joe’s okay
Man shout out to Megan Olivi for being wife of the year. That post fight convo with Benavides brought me to tears
Cringe
@@richardjones3792You're still too young to understand. You will one day.
@@QnzColdest Exactly. You can tell he's young and stupid because only their generation has an obsession with calling everything cringe.
Glad to see the Justin and Tony mention. I was so scared for Tony, I just wanted it to end for his sake.
Yeah. I was praying for him to fall so the ref could wave it off earlier. Tony just wouldn't stop
That fight did so much damage I honestly wish tony never took the fight
When he was shaking his head and involuntarily walking away, I knew he was done, not just that night but forever. I wish someone had stepped in and told him to retire. It was genuinely frightening, especially after his win streak that made him look legitimately invincible.
Not having a crowd and hearing the impact of every shot made it 10000 times worse as a viewer.
Chuck Liddell's entire body going lifeless when Rashad KO'd him is another honorable mention imo
ABSOLUTELY!!!! I think it was theeeeeee most definitive knockout I had seen at that point.
not a title fight, but super nasty
@@thajoat9852 you just reminded me that its only title fights, thank you goat
Yeah, that was gnarly. I think that was the one that prompted Dana White himself to begin publicly stating Chuck should retire.
@@DausteyIIoh yeah cause if it wasn’t Rashad would’ve had a couple on this list lol especially that head kick to what’s his face or what his face was I suppose.
That slam on Rose was terrifying…hard to look at those pictures, that could’ve been lethal
Gaethje vs Fergy was the hardest for me to watch by far. The echo of Gathjes gloves in the empty arena, tonys clear inability to do anything include stand while still having the chin to get beat to shit until the damn near end was quivering
“Act of god” on insurance claim if Francis hits you. Hahahahaha
The scariest part of Jones vs Machida is just how calm Jon was when he dropped him and just walked away Literally like a walk in the park
I hate using this word, but that's easily the "coldest" moment in mma history imo.
Legit serial killer vibes the way he walks off 😂
@@redneckrambo9626 Well, if we're being honest, he does have one thing in common with serial killers.
I remember it live. I had become an instant fan already of Jones and knew he was special, but facing Machida back then was scary, a no-BS test that you had to win or go unconscious. I was scared for Jon.
But this turned out to be terror of the most impressive variety: I KNEW I was watching him drop Lyoto so dramatically and matter-of-factly _JUST_ for the self-serving shock value to the crowd (and the world watching) of doing so... But I ALSO knew that it truly WORKED. It (and he) was the REAL fucking deal.
It was a sick demonstration of complete willingness to shock and awe.
Jones drove away from a hit and run, I wouldn't be surprised he would know what it was to like to drop someone and get away.
The Joey B one still hurts to this day.
The behind the scenes footage of Megan freaking out was hard to watch.
Hollaway vs Ortega was tough to watch
For real. Max giving him pointers on how to block MID FIGHT was especially painful to watch. Like… damn
Huge respect for Holloway for that beating, and maybe even more respect for Ortega surviving that.
It´s a huge heart going that far into that fight.
@@hooyabaaa2 Just wanted to say that you're a real one dude. A lot of people get hung up on Max doing something that just seems condescending on the face of it, though I don't think Max was trying to embarrass him. Far less often do people give Ortega props for being tough as fucking nails and making it to the end of a fight with a guy who he shouldn't have been matched with to begin with (as usual the cunt match makers at the UFC show their complete lack of decency and actual care about fighter welfare). Of course they'd say "if you're in the ufc then getting thrown to the wolves comes with the territory" or some similar convoluted horse shit. Not only is that obvious bullshit, totally irrational, and counter intuitive to "progressing a newer fighter" and unquestionably hurts the company. It's just one more clear example of the the cunt that is Dana White, showing the world that not only can he not take any criticism, not only is he NEVER wrong, but most importantly.....he doesn't give a flying shit about any of his "fighters" aside from maybe 5 or 6 and that's completely dependent on their marketing ability and willingness to do every single thing he asks of them, regardless of how it may effect their own well being. Ironically one more thing that he almost NEVER helps any fighters with despite being the one person that actually can help the most.
Or in other words, the typical "Don King" type of promoter. And of course he's buddies with trump. OF COURSE!
Ortega fan 😂😂😂😂lol
The scariest part of the Francis KO is that Stipe landed a shot that would’ve wobbled most and that’s why he was rushing in but Francis was unfazed and the rest was history
Well it did stumble Francis backwards, that's the scary thing. He got rocked went backwards and still hit Stipe with a hook that would have KO'd a horse 🐎
When asked about it immediately after Francis said "I guess he thought he hurt me or something" 💀💀💀💀
Crocop's leg twist from being knockout was even more painful to watch.
Recently Bryce Mitchell finish courtesy of Josh Emmett was a tough one
This list is title fights
@@larrycleveland1593brutal nonetheless.
@@Jiu-JitsuJourney257
And still not a title fight
Not sure if terrifying is the word, but Robbie Lawler beating down Rory Macdonald in the 5th round of their title fight was really hard to watch. Especially on the replays where you can see Rory just crumple from the accumulation of strikes
He had blood pouring out of his nose and mouth, struggling to breath and couldn't get up. Absolutely fucking brutal
JBJ is a testament to just how scary you can be when you combine natural talent, hard work, and PEDs.
The moment I knew that Jones was an absolute savage was when he was asked about the Machida finish. He said " It was beautiful" I'm like damn that's cold
Saw Jones vs DC 2 live in person. It was glorious.
Must've been electric. That buildup was severe, the promo kicked it all off. Pure savagery.
Sorry u had to sit through Woodley vs Maia
@@soupnoodlesam lol...yeah that was rough.
@@soupnoodlesamI sat through Anderson Silva vs Damian Maia 💔
The lioness pummeling Ronda w/a barrage of faceshots was one for me.
So satisfying tho
@@ChumbynKnopa and Rousey didn't even have to drop. The ref was like "alright I've seen enough".
Perhaps because it was entirely unintentional and a freak occurrence, but nothing for me was more terrifuing than Anderson Silva snapping his leg in half against Weidman's check. It was the most shocking thing I had ever seen in a big MMA title fight
Even more so when it happened to Weidman. For him to be on both sides of something so awful. It was doubly freaky for that alone.
One of the most coldblooded was Jones vs Lyoto, when he choked him out and just dropped him and he was just limb. That picture of Jones walking away while Lyoto lays there, out cold with his eyes opened. He looked dead
Oh shit, i wrote this before watching the video😅
I thought it would be like scary KOs only
Glad you mentioned Penn vs. Stephenson. It was only a handful of times watching MMA that I thought enough is enough, throw the towel.
Slightly different vibe but you have to mention Weidman Silva 2. That’s the most disturbed I’ve ever felt after a fight
First fight I thought of when I saw the video title
Man, Frank Shamrock is CRIMINALLY underappreciated by the modern MMA community. His slam knockout of Igor Zinoviev, which resulted in the latter's retirement from the sport, was the first time I was fearful that I just witnessed a death in the ring/cage. Dosen't even get an honorable mention. 🤦♂️
YESSSSSSSSS!!!!! I saw that fight live and couldn't believe how strong and technically perfect Frank was
God that thumbnail stings 😭 sad times being a big Volk fan but his run was for the ages 🔥
The way he pushed Islam to the final bell, after clearing his division. But now....?
Got double slumped, shouldn't have gotten obsessed with Islam.
@@ThePlvgGmG yea man I believe what’s left for him is money fights, I doubt he gets gold again unfortunately, bros not gettin any younger
Ilia’s run will be better ... it’s his time now 😎
@@patb00y hard to say if it’ll be “better” when he’s not trynna fight the top contenders, he’s an incredible fighter tho
MMA On Point brings the HEAT each time out!
The Benavidez one is definitely the worst for me.
It was pandemic times too in an empty arena.......
Now this is the kind of content we need
Yeah, I've been missing these.
Bro its the discard of Lyotos unconscious body that is just like "Holy shit, is he dead??" Absolutely wild
When Rich Franklin KO’d Nate Quarry back in the day, that was scary to see. If I’m not mistaken, he was the first fighter from the Ultimate Fighter to fight for a belt, and he didn’t even get to fight in the show. A notable prospect with solid potential injured before he got to fight, then goes on a win streak to get a title shot vs Rich Franklin, only to get flatlined in horrible fashion to where he looked kinda like Bryce Mitchell. Horrifying to witness and also sad that is how his redemption arc ended.
I will be forever grateful at the upload frequency of this channel. Thank you MMA on point 🙏
I appreciate you guys posting right before my lunch everyday!
That connor clip makes me wonder how much worse it would have been for the people in the bus if the dolley had hit a window directly and not land mostly on the metal between windows
Excellent video
The anticipation I got at the end just knowing what number 1 would be and seeing the honorary mentions right before that just solidified how scary that number 1 was. Incredible video guys.
Dude this list gave me chills. It was awesome to watch.
Good shit Tommy & Luke 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great video
I genuinely briefly believed that Rose was dead from that slam from Andrade. Also, I know Jones isn't always the most intimidating person and hasn't recently been a finisher. But he is one of the most brutal dudes in UFC history. He's one of the best for a reason.
Just commented the same….that Rose could’ve easily died from that…those pictures are hard to look at
I think Silvas leg snapping against Weidman at least deserved an honorable mention
Not really
Surprised Weidman vs Silva 2 isn't on here.
Glover vs Hill
Silva vs Weidman 2
Lesnar vs Mir 2
Volk vs Zombie
Silva vs Franklin was wild then and still is now. He “fu*cked him up
Yea, you could see Franklin was TERRIFIED of the clinch in the second fight. Silva had restructured his face in the first fight, and Franklin still had no answers for it.
He tried his best to just stand up straight but Silva just dug knees to the body until Franklin had to give up his face. Sheesh
That face. Just like omgwtf I have no answer
@@ReyShady05 exactly
Lyoto is still one of my favorite fighters ever, that Jones loss hurt but he deserves the GOAT status for sure.
Keep em coming boys 🔥
Rashad Evans’s finishes of Sean Salmon and Chuck Liddell I think could’ve gotten an honorable mention.
Neither of those were title fights
Described Topuria’s ability perfectly…
Didn’t even put ngannou v overeem in honourable mentions I think that or the figgy v joe b knockout tops the list
Ngannou vs overeem was not a title fight
This is great content
Megan talking to Joseph Benavidez after that brutal RNC always twists me up
"Jon! Go check on Machida! Go get some fans!!"
Jones vs Shogun was actually pretty brutal as well
This need to be include
The insurance company: “we won’t pay, you chose to get into an octagon w Nganou”
I don’t need to watch the vid yet to know it’s gunna be a banger, thanks as always boys
I forgot how traumatic some of these are. Man 😢
Everyone at home was shook to their boots 😂😂
Good show
another crazy one for me was when Ngannou launched Overeem's chin into the stratosphere. the way overeem's neck snapped back and bounced off the canvas was brutal
good list
MMA Right On Point 💯
What's Good Tammy Toe Hold
If You Know You Know.
How’d I never see that rampage Silva knee knockout
Who the actual fuck is “rampage Silva”???
They did not show the trickle of blood that gushed from Rampage's mouth and nose seconds before he hit the ring.
😂@@yourmother9747
Took me years to get over Jones vs Machida
Figgy took years off of joseph, it was terrifying.
Tater sack ‘chida immediately comes to mind.
"These big men make the octagon look small." Yeah well, it was smaller...
Damn this was good 👍
After that fight everyone thought figgy was untouchable
That machida weezing is horrifying
Thanks
Absolutely 100% agree with the number 1. Certainly the most frightening finish I've ever seen.
Chandler v Tony headkick and watching Bryce be flatlined and convulsing was crazy
Yes, but those weren't *title* fights.
@@hhtptai I’m that guy smh 🤦🏻♂️ lol thank you
Yan vs. Aldo was scary, about 2 minutes straight of unanswered shots to the side of the head
The violent thing about the Wanderlei-Rampage finish that isn't mentioned in the video is the blood dripping out of Rampage's head as he lays stiff on the ropes. Absolutely brutal.
100% agree with num 1 . Gawt damn (Trevor Wallace voice 😂)
Average MMA On Point banger
I agree with the No. 1 entry
I would have been upset if it wasn't included. Lyoto looked dead.
Frank mir breaking minatouro's arm
I was at JONES vs MACHIDA and you could hear Machida hit the canvas from my crappy seats far far away… it was wild
Upon first glance, I legit thought Machida was dead.
Stipe’s firefighter jacket doesn’t even have his surname spelt correctly on it 😂 moicic
I still remember seeing machidas arm go limp just before the ref stopped the fight and when Jon let go he just melted to the mat, it was wild. That’s about as deep as a choke can get, those long limbs are lethal.
Henderson on Bisping was brutal.
They got this absolutely correct Jones finish of Machita was absolutely vicious.
Jones actually landed a leg kick after the head kick, which completely took all balance away from dc
What a sport man, i mean i know we talking about people getting hurt, but man i am proud to be a part of the mma comunity !
Dude crocop vs Gonzaga was by far the scariest
That wasn't a title fight dummy
I knew the Machida finish would be #1 it was absolutely terrifying seeing a former unstoppable looking fighter collapse like that.
Mitchell had convulsions from Topuria
Conor vs Aldo! No one expected that ending that way and that fast.
amazing list, only fight missing is tito ortiz vs evan tanner. I thought tanner was dead after that slam
Emmet Vs. Mitchell was insane. I thought Mitchell actually died
Glad someone mentioned this, I was so surprised it wasn’t on here
I was just fucking praying he was going to stop twitching and wake up.
@@georgeeast9271 it wasn’t on here cause it wasn’t a title fight but still one of the most gruesome knockouts I’ve witnessed.
Rampage's powerbomb finish in Pride was brutal as f**k as well.
What's up with the fire-fighter jacket saying "Moicic" and not Miocic? 😂
Can’t forget masvidal flying knee in 5 seconds to askren
Would have loved to seen some love for Franklin vs Quarry.
Almost all Wanderlei Silva Career was scary, but i think the KO against Yuki Kondo is the most terrifing, even worst than Rampage.
Holly Holm's title win over Rousey is another one that's fairly hard to watch as Rhonda just had nothing to show against Holm and the way she gets perfectly lined up and smashes off the canvas afterwards is brutal
The Machida fight is why I love submission fighting
