God, I keep myself up at night thinking about going here. Never thought I would say that about a school. I hope I get in and shit’s back to normal next fall.
just make sure you can afford it bro, try to get a scholarship, maybe take liberal arts classes online using an outside program or at a community college or something, definitely not worth getting in debt for, but if it's right for your situation obviously its among the best choices and you wont regret it at all

@@avriella2070 hey! a scholarship is basically free money to help pay for your college education. there are free websites that you can sign up and have the chance to compete for some. i’ve been trying for a bit to see if i’m lucky enough to win any but yeah it’s basically free money to pay for school

@@avriella2070 If you’re applying to berklee they’ll automatically sign you up for scholarships. I just got accepted for this fall and ended up getting a scholarship to attend solely on my audition. I didn’t have to do any extra application or anything like that.

youre such a good singer. I'm 29 now, it's my dream to go to this school but that will never happen now with kids. My music career is over but it's exciting seeing other promising kids take on the dream. Don't waste time! Go for it now!

Are music business majors typically required to audition with a primary instrument as well? I have a high gpa and good extracurriculars but my school and financial situation didn’t offer opportunities to receive formal music training so I’m not sure if I would even be considered at Berklee.

I want to get in for film scoring, but I'm kind of new to piano, I can do some other instruments better, but I'm not sure how I could get in, because no other colleges offer a film scoring major.

Doesn’t have to be piano, but any focus instrument including voice :)
Bernard Dinata because I have 6 years of piano experience. 4 of the years being involved in private lessons. I wouldn’t consider myself “good” but I know the basics.
@@thepianoman808 i know this comment is a year old but my oh my is 6 years plenty enough to be considered good. i wish i had 6 years of piano under my belt. i only started getting serious about music this year and im nervous about applying because im not confident in my skills. i would hope 6 years is enough to get in. good luck if you havent already gotten in

I know a couple people that got full scholarships! there are a lot of scholarships available for sure, give it a shot!

kind of an irrelevant story time but I’ve gotten accepted into the 2021 fall semester for Berklee(YAY) and I was wondering if the school was haunted at all because northeast places like Massachusetts or New York tend to be hot spots for ghost stories and paranormal activity. So I looked it up and found that 150 dorms are ✨haunted✨ooooOoOooooOoooO
