Today, another carpet in our laundry, which will surely be on the top 10 dirtiest list 😍.
Removing all the debris was quite a challenge this time. Old trampled dust and sand came out despite the previous, very careful tapping of the beater machine 😲. After washing, the colors came to life amazingly, all patterns are contrasting and bright again. The rug can be placed in the living room 😎, see for yourself. A butterfly flew while washing 🦋. I have depression an I'm not motivated to clean or shower. It's very hard for me. These videos are very motivational. I'm seeing the joy and satisfaction of cleaning. When motivation just isn't there, often the trick is to get only one small thing done. Picking up a newspaper from the floor or such. Or just managing to get out of the house. Getting one little thing done can spark that little feeling of motivation.
Speaks directly to your subconscious because you have to do that through pictures verbal communication doesn't work so that's why I love it ‼️
What I find amazing is how durable these rugs are. With the decades of wear and trampled in dirt, then to be soaked and scrubbed over and over, the fact they come out so nice is a testament to old school quality and wisdom.

What I love seeing most, is how much effort is put into to cleaning these rugs and not just the typical cleaning methods but cleaning them far deeper than I ever thought possible, so when this man cleans, he truly cleans and I love the hard work he puts into what he does!!! He cleans until the water around these rugs is clean!!! I am beyond impressed and sure hope he is paid very well for his amazing work!!!❤️

Most of the rug cleaning videos I've seen they don't turn the rug over they stick the water hose under one end of it and scrape the rug several times while the water rinses the dirt out. I don't think that cleans it as well as Jakob does. Great job Jakob! Stay safe!

Anyone else love it when the rugs are so dirty, you can hear the grime on the floor being scraped away at the first scraping? Then the pressure washer just washes it all away. So satisfying.

I never thought for minute that this carpet was that light beige, off white and peach. So much dirt! Great work. So satisfying and relaxing to watch.
Shows the night and day difference in quality between a real high dollar Persian rug and a department store knock-off! I remember trying to clean a cheap rug as a kid and watching it fall apart with a brisk scrubbing from a hand brush and a garden hose! Color got stripped out, backing fell off... went straight to the trash.
Just amazed that these ones can take several scrubbing machine cycles, several pressure wash cycles, several acrylic squeegee cycles, a centrifugal dry, and shrug it all off like it's nothing, with the color intact. Also grosses me out, thinking about what is likely in and under the wall-to-wall carpeting in my little apartment🤢 Got a subscriber out of me and makes me respect pro carpet cleaners a whole lot more!
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is not a real Persian rug. The back of the rug is what gives that away.
@@gloriauribe7662 You are absolutely right...lack of fringe is a good giveaway to start with. I cannot imagine them handling a real Persian/Oriental in this fashion. I need to send mine out for cleaning, but I would not want them handled so roughly by these machines. They are strong and only wool and silk with a cotton base, but some of them are quite old and fragile now.

That flip was one of the most spectacular I've seen! The before and after shots are incredible. I have an area rug that is at least 100 years old. I've had it for 50 years. I'm sure it would look brighter if cleaned. I was told by several people who have cleaned my wall to wall carpets to not even use a vacuum cleaner on it. That rug stood up to everything he did until it almost looked like new. I fell asleep about halfway through while watching on my phone. I had to search for it to see the results on my Kindle Fire.
You always have the perfect music and sound balance. So relaxing!

There is something very therapeutic about watching your videos. From the moment of your smiling introduction, there is a certain ritualistic quality to the process. All performed to calming, unobtrusive, zen like music.
The flood of clear water is a definitive start to the experience. It is a bold, though simple statement of the intent of your mission.
Then, with your garden watering can, you gracefully but thoroughly deliver your first offensive. An application of powerful medicine that begins to dissolve the fetid hold of the intruder.
Then comes the cyclical, precise sound of the mechanized rotary brush, "Shooosha Shooosha Shooosha". The sound and the swirling visual is strangely soothing. It is easy to imagine, perhaps even view with your minds eye, the foul contamination being forcibly displaced from the fibers by the thousands of bristle tips you so skillfully wield.
Then you methodically continue with the constant rhythmic sound of the powerful jets of cleansing water. Combined with the visuals of foul, destructive, filth being purged from it's hiding in the depths of the rug. The pulsating sound and visual spray is a strong affirmation of the force of good.
Now, you become the artist. You begin the freestyle portion of the event.
Will you take a step back, or push onwards?
More bristle work? Perhaps yes, another round of "Shooosha Shooosha Shooosha".
Or maybe the physical brutality of your push blade.
"Wooooosh, Wooooosh, Wooooosh". Wave after wave, sweeping the enemy from hiding to their doom in the gutter.
The battle goes on. You work your different tactics, barrage after barrage. Flushing more filth away with each new assault.
All of this calmly and systematically unfolds to the strains of that calming music. Until at last, you are once again victorious!
It was after all, the only possible outcome.
However, you still take the time to share your bounty with us. Allowing us to bask in the restored beauty that you singularly fought to recover. And thanks to you, we are better people because of your efforts. It is as if parts of our own beings were also swept clean by the ritual. We feel good and smile, thanks to you.

@Laurie Huber, I agree with you! This rug was so dirty, the pattern wasn't visible until the very first scrubbing pass. At the point he had half scrubbed and half still so dirty, I believe this was the most dramatic difference in any rug yet!
The quality of cleaning was proven at the end. A SUPER GREAT job Jakub, pat yourself on your back for a job well done. You deserve all the praise you can get.

There is a demand just you don't know about it. At the very moment I was washing several in a month, but I just showed it is also needed and every year I have more customers. I add that I live in a very small town, which has about 5 thousand inhabitants 🤗💖

I always find these videos so satisfying. There was this beautiful rug I had in my bedroom growing up, it was a 12'X12' hand-tied ornamental one of the last out of Persia. Easily a $10,000 rug today. Sadly it was lost in a house fire and can never be replaced no matter how much money the insurance company gave us. You see these $60 rugs at Walmart and you might watch this video and wonder why someone would pay so much to have it cleaned. They don't make ANYTHING like they used to anymore.

In the hands of a master, even, cleaning rug is sheer artistry. Jacob is indeed a very talented arttisan. The amounts of water, soap and/or patience required to clean that grimy rug was unbelievable. I would've needed an assistance before I attempted such a feat, but somehow step by step he skillfully cleaned and restored that old rug to its former glory. Simply amazing.

I watch a lot of these rug cleaning, pressure washing, etc kind of videos...but this one here...blew my mind at every step. I'm thinking that had to be next to a fireplace, maybe that's soot washing out? 🤔 definitely wasn't expecting that amazing outcome. Well done!

This is the first time I’ve seen a rug cleaned to the point where the water washes out clean in the end. Agree with others here - these videos are oddly relaxing and satisfying.
All I could think of, was that it made me feel like it was saturated with coal dust. You could tell that it had been rolled up for a long time. You saved this absolutely beautiful rug's life!! You take such pride in your work, and it shows!!

Coal dust was my thought. We had a pot belly coal stove. Kept us very warm but it is very dirty to keep. However, we got a new rug and disposed of the old rug. So, I do not know how dirty the old one was.

I was wondering if it was soot. Like it was in a house fire and the smoke damage was set in by the water damage caused by the water they used to put out the fire. Lots of times what the flames don’t damage the water and smoke do.

If you go to his playlist "The dirtiest rugs" the last video shows a carpet that had so many ink stains he wasn't able to get them out.
You could tell this was going to be really something when you first unrolled it and it had that crunchy, crusty sound!
