Camp Chores, Feeding Deer and Hiking

Cleaning up around camp and checking to see how much damage all the heavy rain did to our trail. Splitting wood for some upcoming campfires. We also found a few cool things while hiking too!

How in the heck was there a mussel shell there? and was that part of a turtle shell?

The mussel probably came from the creek or maybe brought over by an animal. Yes that was a piece of a turtle shell too. We've seen several turtles around but usually alive. :-)
