Hello Hughes, my 50cc engine won’t start because it seems to have too much compression on the block. When I put the spark plug back on its place the engine becomes too heavy and not able to pedal the bike. When I take the spark plug out the engine runs nice and smooth by turning the back wheel around. What can I do?

Question, I was riding my bike fine for like 6 miles to the beach, then I slowed down, turned the bike off to go up a bridge, went to start it again and when I let the clutch out and the wheel locked up. I had to back up to free the wheel, then it had trouble starting again, then after a couple times of it starting it wouldn’t start again, and the chain keeps getting looser and looser and I have no idea why because the chain is still on the sprockets and everything. Now my main problem is getting it running, I have fuel, 30:1 ration, spark, compression, and the clutch is activating fine and disengaging fine, and the wheel still sometime locks up when I peddling. I have checked everything I know to check, I am extremely stumped and have had 3 guys come over to help to look at it. No idea. Any advice?

I want to share my tips for reinstalling the brake arm. Firstly, on the OTHER side (bicycle drive side), I put two lug nuts on the axle and tighten them INTO each other. That is, get two wrenches, turn the top nut clockwise and the bottom nut counterclockwise. This way you can use vice grips to effectively grip the axle, put the wheel on your lap with the vice grips on the bottom, vice grips sandwiched between your thighs to keep the axle from rotating as you work with the brake arm cone nut or brake arm locking nut. I have a cheater pipe that fits perfectly into the brake arm, that sure is handy dandy. Before tightening the lock nut over the brake arm, I found out that I need to have the brake arm's cone nut juuuust a little looser than I would think, and maybe juuuuust a little looser than that even, because that locking nut pushes the cone nut in and effectively over tightens it. ALWAYS check that it's not too tight BEFORE putting the wheel back on!!!
Thanks for all your great videos!

Ayy Hughes, I have a problem with my rear hub. I already set everything up, put the sprocket on and serviced the hub...but I had the 2 loose brake pads fall out and I couldn't figure out how to get them back in. I figured I didn't need them, put on the sprocket and called it good. I didn't know I needed to put the brake arm back on. Are those pads necessary?
    Edit:
I actually went ahead and did everything you showed in the video. Now my only issue is the gap between the dust cover and the bearing... My bearing has nothing completely stopping it from coming out :/ because of the gap between the brake cone
    And the bearing

You can put a socket on the output sprocket nut and turn engine over. Once you get gas into it, it will be lubricated. Don't overthink it. These are crude little engines. 40:1 gas oil mix is fine. 6,000 rpm w/ no oil and you'll have issues but that first startup won't hurt it.
