      Yes I like and respect Max but he's wrong on this one. Floyd if he was interested or pissed off would fight and beat Triple G. He would just outbox him.. Don't people realize that Floyd often times fights bigger guys in the gym. Have you ever noticed that when Floyd wants to come forward he does. He just does and adjust's to what he has to do. Oscar, Mosley, Paquico, Cotto, Alveraz, Gatti. That's 6 right there that will all be in Hall of Fame and some already are. Marquez you can throw in too probably how many Hall of Fame fighters or future Hall of fame fighters has Triple G defeated ?

      Curtis, guess what? You don’t know shit about boxing.
      Golovkin is way better at setting his punches up than canelo. And when canelo fought Floyd, he wasn’t even turning his punches over.
      Golovkin is better at setting his punches up. He is better at maintaining lead hand control. He would most certainly hit Floyd flush. Do you really think a flush punch from a genuine middleweight wouldn’t hurt Floyd mayweather?
      That’s insane. Canelo now would give Floyd fucking hell. Just the fact that he turns his punches over now. Floyd would be in a lot of pain by the end of that fight.

      When your fighting a natural flyweight (where pacquiao started his career) yes Floyd had an advantage being the naturally bigger man. But regardless I won't take anything away from Floyd, he owned Manny and won that fight easy. But he should of fought him many years before when Pacman was near his best. As he did with other fighters to. No disrespect because he is an excellent boxer, but most people know he made smart decisions business and legacy wise rather than taking risks to achieve even more greatness. All good though.

Two things can be true you can be informed and come across as honest and still omit facts. Just give the man his props instead of making it look like he didn't fight the right fights. There's always an excuse to discredit an accomplishment of Floyd's.

    In the 80s, Marvin Hagler was a killer in the middleweight division. He fought a welterweight named Sugar Ray Leonard, who like Mayweather, would not stand toe-to-toe with a middleweight killer. Fight decided by points with the welterweight avoiding contact and landing punches that never hurt the larger man. Same dance, different era, same results.

    Great smart point there thats an intelligent argument there Max with lots of Facts on different Boxers in different Boxers. As to check out Manny Pacquiao legacy compared to Floyd Mayweathers record it is far obvious who deserves to be the chosen one. One thing is for sure Manny always fights the best of the best fighters: younger, bigger, stronger fighters at their strongest peak condition not imposing any unfavorable conditions that will be a disadvantage for opponents. The Toughest fight for Manny Pacquiao to date in his boxing career to fight the Undefeated Big, Tall & Strong Errol Spence. Floyd Mayweather would not want to fight Keith Thurman or Errol Spence, as his motivation is not for the love of the sport of Boxing but Money. Pacquiao is but different He is fighting the Younger, stronger, undefeated new breed of Champions He is indeed a Real Life Rocky true story. Manny Pacquiao is the underdog here some boxers even think this is way too much for Manny Pacquiao to fight others almost half his age others even say he is crazy as he can get hurt badly. An aged Legend vs a very strong young huge undefeated Champion, Manny has the heart to win it. I dont want Manny to get damaged as He should be already retired He did already so much for the sport of Boxing. I am for the older, shorter, smaller underdog boxer Manny Pacquiao, as His heart has overcome the bests of the best in Boxing the True & genuine legend 8th division World Champion Manny Pacquiao who fought his opponents at the peak of their youth & abilities. Not like Floyd Mayweather who has so many conditions against his opponents which brings them to their disadvantage but that which is favorable for Mayweather to win, that is not a fair class for a champion. Manny Pacquiao have gone through many wars & have done so many seemingly impossible feats in boxing, You dont need to prove anything to anyone anymore. As Floyd Mayweather wont even have the balls to fight Keith Thurman or Errol Spence but fight a CZcamsr or a UFC or Japanese Mixed martial arts fighter what an easy life for Floyd. Max thanks for bringing highlight to the truth, we know Manny is the True Legend with a heart, the real Peoples Champion GOD has Blessed Him indeed, He is Loved by many.

    He already lost to Canelo the second time and has a draw in the first. Canelo is slow in general but his defense ain't too crazy, and Tripple G still managed to miss a good chunk first encounter.
    And Canelo couldn't even touch Floyd even when he had 15 to 20 pounds over Floyd.

    so to make it easier to understand, max meant that at middleweight with no catchweight and no tune up fights for floyd, floyd will lose as he will suddenly feel the burden of additional weight and will considerably slow down, and gas out, and once he gets easier to hit, GGG will put him to sleep. if the fight is a catchweight like against canelo, floyd will win because the weight and size is no more that of a big factor, floyd's skills will dominate GGG all 12 rounds. one thing's for sure though , no one will knock out GGG. not even manny at catchweight (though if manny becomes a natural middleweight that is the time GGG will fall that's for sure).

      @@raw5889 this has nothing to do with what fighters we like. Have you seen some of the scorecards on Floyd or canelo fights? They are inexcusable and are a sign of only one thing. Corruption. (which in certain cases has been proven).
      However the entire boxing world watched that ggg-canelo 1 and thought "this could end boxing". Even the pro Canelo announcers were desolate.
      I think it comes down to people thinking that what Floyd did in the ring against pac was better boxing than vice versa. Also, just watching Floyd's body type change and his head grow...
      He roided. PAC roided. Canelo roided. They all, or many do "cheat" it's as simple as that. We can agree to disagree but I'm for sure not in some tiny minority thinking GGG had a draw in that first one (clear victory for GGG should have never been a rematch but canelo is the golden money goose and gennady is an old Ukrainian), and the amount of ppl who thought 118-112 was the right score in Floyd-pac. If you simply watch that fight at .5 speed and I already commented the vid who made that video. Floyd is out landed 142-69 while running away, initiating clinches and landed fewer power shots. The only thing Floyd did better was absorb punishment, and slip more. This is my and many other people's opinion. I'm not simply disagreeing with you. I'll disagree with anyone who thinks corruption wasn't in play in those three fights we've discussed.

      Floyd would reset him all night and GGG would be too slow. GGG wouldn't even be able to cut off the ring on Mayweather and that's the only way GGG wins in his other fights. Cuts off the ring and hits them w/ power. But when you go against someone like Mayweather with speed and precision. GGG is toast. Proof is GGG vs Canelo. GGG missed all night and barely landed body shots b/c he was afraid of getting countered. lol

    • @alexismundo3909
      @alexismundo3909 Před 6 lety +1

      After seeing Canelo vs. GGG, I know Floyd would whoop GGG. I personally think Canelo beat GGG, but it was so close that I agree with the draw (besides the 18-10 scorecard). That being said, Canelo worked GGG defensively all night. Mayweather is much better defensively, as well as capitalizes on opportunities to land cleanly much better than Canelo, because his ring IQ is higher. After seeing GGG miss Canelo, and the way Canelo rolled so well with his punches so that he couldn't connect cleanly, I must say that I think Floyd would undoubtedly outbox GGG. Even when GGG connected cleanly on Canelo, he didn't finish him, and we cannot deny that Floyd has a strong chin. In a scenario where a 40 year old Floyd were to really train hard to fight GGG, I still think he would win, even though his only weakness would be his age. A younger Floyd would just put on a clinic in my opinion and embarrass GGG. Don't get me wrong, I love GGG, but there's levels to this shit. I will agree that GGG's jab would be the only thing to give Floyd a hard time. I mean Connor landed jabs on Floyd, but we all know Floyd had a different style and barely prepared for that fight at all (LOL).
