  • Curious about working directly with me? Set up a free strategy session and find out if you're a fit: bit.ly/20withsarah My classes are for actors who are serious about working on their craft, who care deeply about storytelling and are ready to be challenged. Please do not reserve a time unless you know you can make it.
So many actors struggle with what to do with their bodies when they are acting. Many actors end up flailing their arms around or standing stiff like a robot with no life. So how do you figure out what your body should be doing? And is it different for tv vs film/tv/on-camera? Your movements must be connected to what the heck you are playing in the scene and this video will give you a great place to start.
I’m Sarah and what I do best is help actors get out of their heads and into the moment so they can book big jobs and tell stories that matter. We offer Zoom classes, private Zoom coaching sessions, audition coaching/prep, special workshops and on-set / performance consultant packages. Find out if you are a fit: bit.ly/20withsarah

Hi, when performing a scene my mind is conseously thinking about what’s coming next because Iam familiar with the text, due to this my reactions in secen becomes very general. Can you please give any advice how not to think ahead and be present the present moment

Prepare so much that you can trust yourself to let go, be present and let it fly!

I do have one more doubt about actors space, I heard this word in many books. What really is an actor space means?? I thought the space where you connect to the text, your circumstances, reacting to your partner, be in the moment I believe this is called an actors space. Am I right or is there something else I need to know about actors space.

hi, so i have this show in like a month in which i play a water guardian who's protecting an important stone that some pirates want to take from me (note that i have NEVER acted before, i actually dance and this is a show from my dance academy but, as a said, there is some acting). My character is kinda arrogant and thinks no one can steal her stone because a lot of people have tried and failed, so she kinda has a god complex (which she kinda is). The issue is, i have no idea how i should act like a water guardian, the goddess i am suppossed to be, because i have literally 4 lines in which i kinda make fun of the people trying to come to my area and steal from me, and after a fight which i suppossedly win, i then realize that someone stole the stone from me and i get all hysteric and leave. i have absolutely no idea what to do with my body or arms or anything, because i enter my scene walking while talking, then do nothing. sorry if this comment is too long but i dont know what to do

Otherwise, check out a bunch of the videos here in the channel which has a ton of videos which should be very helpful in your prep!

You should do reaction videos for more views and also explain , people do it for Bollywood trailers and get million views easy
