I enjoy your videos and books very much. I learned from your recent Books Interview video that I have 3 of your 4 oldest books, which was a cool surprise for me! I have a Yamaha TRBX204 Active Electric Bass Guitar Old Violin Sunburst. I bought it 3 years ago because it was $60 off the regular selling price, it had both P & J bass pickups, and it weighed only 7 lbs 13 oz. The body just has less wood, but with a longer top horn to allow the neck to reach 24 frets. Sweetwater is the only retailer I know of that displays the weight of their basses when they are in stock. I had to buy a light bass to save my back! The active tone controls produce a very wide variety of tonal responses. I put LaBella Low Tension Flexible Flats on it, so nice and smooth, and the low tension saves my finger joints from a great deal of pain. I've been practicing Jazz Walking Bass for a while, and still have a long way to go! Thank you for your upbeat spirit and love of playing and teaching!

I have a hot rodded 1981 fender squire J and a new Hofner hct 500/7 thin semi hollow body w/ La Bella light flat wounds. I Love the La Bella sound and feel. I’ve never seen you with a semi hollow body. Do you ever play any?
