Absolutely! Even the great Allen Toussaint called Mr. Boutte the best at the time. New Orleans has so many musical gifts given to the world & this vocal genius is on a whole other level. I have about 7 recordings of his own & with him sitting in with other artists. Even since seeing him on one of my favorite TV shows- "Treme"- I've been seeking out his music. Damn, this is soulful! I'm going to watch this again.
