War broke and you can guess what next to arrive the 2nd Horseman "Famine" the world that we remember in the years before WW1 wil never be same again. Following the horrible pandemic Spanish flu at the same year world war 1 ended, yes the 3th horseman the Bible says at the verse 8 from Revelation chapter 6 CLEARLY.. "Over the fourth part of the earth" and that was exactly the same portion of people's who died because the pandemic . So now where is the white one 4th .. This horseman was different from those 3, it gives positive impact to people who believe in him, if you found any religion, or organization that still STRICT and FOCUS to what the Bible wrote, then you just meet the White Horseman.

@@dirus8202 everything that happens since the Era that i already described in the beginning was the manifestation of the horseman, even now they still spreading like virus in the air, in every breath you take.. Not a single living beings free from the horseman until you accept the white one firmly, and that wasn't easy at all. The concept was, you had to learn how to breath with the different air like your body used to be.

absolutely brilliant thank you. when you mentioned that the four horsemen may have been closely related to the fall of rome, as well as what you said about cost of wheat being so expensive, it occurred to me that the book of revelation, specifically the end times, may have already happened. crucially it might be that it is a warning to every 'cycle' of life on earth that "history repeats itself". this would certainly add up when you consider what motivates those who gain too much power for anyone else to stop them, they destroy themselves, like the oroboros depicts.
it seems to be all laid out in the seven deadly sins, with the famine horseman relating to greed and gluttony for eg.
summary: psychopaths naturally gravitate towards the places of power in any society, and then entrench themselves in those positions; the ensuing depravity that follows, i can only assume is "the tribulation of the end times".

But ive never forgotten this....
pumkinpatch I had a dream very similar as a teenager. Sky was orange/red but there were these flying scaly monstrosities terrorizing people and slaughtering them. A giant dragon serpent type thing was flying around a humongous moon in the sky but none of them seemed to see or be interested in me. Very vivid. That was close to 20 years ago.
I had a dream where I went up the sky and saw a golden throne with someone on it (which I presumed was Jesus) and all of a sudden, i fell from heaven and went straight to hell. I was really young when I had this dream and I didn't know what it meant. I asked myself: Am I going to hell if I die?

The biggest part of the Four Horsemen is the representation of the first horsemen.
In many accounts there seems to make him out to be TWO symbols of the same thing: pestilence/starvation which goes more hand in hand with the third horseman, Plague. But (even in the bible) the first horsemen isn't Pestilence or Starvation, but Conquest. This still confuses me but I'm glad you brought it up too.

No one says that they ride in a particular order. The four ride together and they are consequences of eachother. Sometimes war and famine ride together, other times pestilence and death. Sometimes the four of them together.
Before any major changes in history we will always have death plague war or famine.... I think it does not mean the end of times but the end of what we know now ...

The weirdest thing I own all these 4 horses. Even the old one ! His name is Casper. My red one was a race horse name red earth. Black one Elvis and other white one Pegasus. So strange I found this but we wrote treea.ca before seeing this.
Didn't really age well. The rona is not as bad as other diseases in the past. It's not the black death after all. Imagine being a Christian in Eastern Europe during the Mongol invasion and the plague that followed. The earth had been salted in the carnage. A lot of them likely thought they were living through the tribulation and had not been raptured.

It's also worth discussing that while in pop culture they're often portrayed as villains/antagonists or just purely as evil, the Bible actually doesn't imply they are inherently evil. If anything they're portrayed as doing God's work, because the Lamb (Jesus) is the one breaking the seals and summoning them. Meaning the four horseman are a force of good bringing about the end times in order to prepare mankind for God's return and eventually bringing mankind back to heaven.
Malevolent forces being used to do good. Something that no adaptation or fictional use of the horsemen ever gets right nor understands.
That's what the devil used to be just an entity god called to do his work. Until it was changed to the devil and made a whole different thing about him.

Haven't the Four Horsemen of the Apocalyps always been with us since recorded history and even in ancient mythology? Violent conquest, supressive military might, famine, disease, war, an opulent and self centered upperclass, death and destruction, there's really nothing new under the sun. I think that the book of Revelations and its apocalyptic visions express a yearning for the destruction of these plagues that have ruined the lives of so many, while benefitting so few. The desire for an apocalyps is the craving for a more just, a kinder and more peaceful society and is of all times. There's also an element of gloating in it, more or less comparable to Job, sittting down and eagerly awaiting the destruction of Nineveh, the moral sesspool that was the capital of the Assyrian empire. Or to the predicted demise of Babylon in the book of Daniel. It also bares a ressemlence to the plagues that befell Egypt, when the Israelites wanted to wander off to the promised land. In all instances there's an empire involved, that's being regarded as inherently impure, decadent and opressive to the righteous and which evokes a desire for its demise among Israelites and in this case the early christians (which originated from a jewish cult).
As far as the present day is concerned, it is no different among some orthodox and militant muslims, that regard the West in pretty much the same qualifications. And in part western dominance in world affairs especially in the muslim world may well have provoked that sentiment. In another sense, our civilization seems to have come at a crossroads, where the evils of old have returned once more, judging by the growing inequality, elites caring for themselves only and many having to struggle to earn a decent living. That may well instill a fear of impending of doom and gloom.
