Nigerians should learn to appreciate little things that their government does before complaining that it is not an effective system. This is the only system with that of Lagos that is effective for city transport in West Africa and we have travelled through the countries. This is what our people use in the UK and America and come back to say our leaders are not doing anything. Let's appreciate good thing at leat for once. No one can project Nigeria positively except by Nigerians. This is the only country we have. The government can still do more but Kudos for this great achievement.

Not a very effective system. The Lagos system is far better designed and thought out. The routes the Abuja light rail passes through are not high density or priority areas. The airport line should be the last line. Nyanya/Karu to city center and Kubuwa to city center should have taken priority. Not to mention lines linking Garki to Wuse(the two commercial and residentially dense areas within the city).
