- MR. OLUWASHINA OBEY FABIYI is the First Son and first child of Music Legend and Juju Miliki Exponent, Chief Commander, Evangelist (Professor) EBENEZER OBEY FABIYI (MFR).
The United States of America based International businessman was home recently for the 80th Birthday Celebration of his legendary Dad on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 which took place at the family’s Decross International Church, Mulero, Agege, Lagos (Western Nigeria) with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo leading other eminent Nigerians to the event.
Few days before the event, the elderly scion of Ebenezer Obey dynasty allowed Asabe Afrika TV access into his recess to speak on life as Ebenezer Obey’s eldest child and why he didn’t take to singing like his famous Dad.
The very intelligent and well built Oluwashina Obey told us secret things that makes his father different from any other Dad in the world.

The one for me is the grand daughter that fell asleep during the interview, she slept so peacefully on the grand dad tummy, what a cushion, very comfortable to lay her head.
NOTE: Uncle Rotimi OBEY is busy abroad through out this celebration. He is probably the only son who couldn't get enough time to from business to come during preparing. I think he came late into the country. And we already done the series before his arrival. We didn't actually interviewed all Baba's children. It was just mere luck and Baba's intervention that made us to be lucky enough to get the ones we got. EBENEZER OBEY'S Children are quite busy and if you aren't dodged you can't get them talking to you. We did so much but by Special Grace of God and Baba's special intervention, we got some. For instance Uncle Shina bumped in and went out of town. I got the information around 2am on a Friday And thank God we bumped into and begged him to talk to us before his return back the very next day. So, for Uncle ROTIMI, his schedule was too tight as he was engaged with so many things.
By GOD's grace we will get him soon.

You have tried Asabe, but my question is: I remember when I was younger that obey sang about his children...in Obey, obey Commander Daada...chorus Obey Commander Baba, ...chief commander Baba Oluwasina, Baba Rotimi..Baba Bukola mi o, Baba Olanrewaju...so where is Rotimi and family, you didn't interview him..why? He should tell his father to do what? Who and who amongst them are not doing well please? What did they do with all the money they made? Some of them were busy marrying many wives. How many wives did Commander himself marry?
People like Akin Atoki, Folly Peperempe, Lai Addis, Paul Tao are doing very well today. They were focused and serious-minded. They passed through the same band. Some of them were just wreckless! The man tried for them but they didn't help themselves.
Can you tell me one successful Musician today that passed through Sunny Ade's Band. I don't know of any.
