C'MON!! You didn't tell me anything other than you should know what type of slide you have. Duh! How about showing pictures of each type and clearly saying who makes them? Maybe then I will have a chance of figuring out, by looking at my RV, where else to look or go for specific info.
And replying to comments.
Can you show more pictures of the various slide mechanisms to make easy to identify the brands or is there a website that has more information
Heres how I solved my slide problem

I found this Video very informative so when your slide out does not come in its broken and when it does not go out its broken. but I know the different types of drive units lol
Can someone please tell me how to slide out a 1997 sunnybrook 5th wheel camper.
It depends on what powers it. If it is hydraulic or electric it will have a switch. Most of them will have a toggle switch with in and out indicated in it. Some models have a safety switch that needs to be activated first and you just push the slide button and it will move and stop on it's own. If you press the button while in motion it will stop and pressing it again will run it the other direction. If you don't have one of these systems you could have a manual slide. There will be a lever under the slide that needs to be pulled to the side and the slide will move out. There have been systems that used the bump outs on the side as well so make sure to check all around the slide and see what you have. Make sure to check the top for a slide lock as well, these can be on the sides too. I hope this helps!
My slide isn't working. Now I have a very complete explanation of what type slides I could possibly have....but no information about troubleshooting my slide

What is the solution if fuses pop everytime I try to bring the slide in?
Hello Rumrunner, what is the make/model?

Hello. Most of the time when this happens it is due to low voltage. I would
make sure the batteries are fully charged and can hold a charge. Check
the water levels and make sure they are full. I would check the voltage
at the batteries when operating the switch, if they drop to below
10.5VDC then the batteries could be sulfated or bad. You can get them
load tested at auto stores to see the condition of your battery. Make
sure the fuse for the charge line to the battery is good too. Fuses blow
from a high amp draw, which will happen from low voltage, failing motor
or an obstruction in the slide. I would make sure there is no binding
on the system and lubricate areas that are needed. There could just be
rust build up in areas and causing it to drag. You can also check all of
the wire connections, loose connections will cause a higher amp draw as
well. Make sure nothing is corroded or frayed insulation on the wires.
This is important on the batteries as well, clean the terminals the best
you can. These are the best things to check before replacing the
batteries. I hope this helps!
@@RVlifestyleandRepair I'll check that out and let you know. Thanks so much!👍
