He was instrumental in the fight to set up an IIIT in Telangana at Basar. But the government set it up near Hyderabad, which was opposed by him.

i literally suffered a lot bcoz of this guy in 2006 -2007 .. my dad woke me up at 4 sent me to tution from 5 - 7:30 and then my school starts at 8 Am ends at 8 pm i came home at 9 pm. health, energy levels, posture everything is effected. 7 years after that i finished my masters and started working in USA. happy with my life but still i feel bad when i think about my life when i was 14 and 15.

It is easy to get a seat in foreign university but it is very difficult to get a seat in IITs because of the competition..... You never know what are IITs and what an IITian unless someone studies there..... There are somany Telugu people in the world enjoying the fruits of the hardwork they had done in 90s due to the vision of great people like Chukka Ramaiah..... It is a fact but sometimes some people may not digest it simply because they couldn't succeed at that time, but they have to remember that the success they are enjoying now is due the pain they had gone through.....

It is unfortunate that getting a seat in iit or engg or medicine is considered as great and give an impression that there is no future for other courses. We have effectively killed Joy of learning among children and all these coaching factories only produced robots. Let us remember those who are successful as innovators, scientists, businessmen, industrialists etc. Most of them are not from hifi institutes. This should be emphasized and self confidence of our children should not be destroyed by these coaching factories.

I also have -ev impression on him , he used to treat students as like salves and made them to look in narrow minded. Problem is not only him most of the Indian education system I dont support it . They used to make and even now to muggup the questions and go in as per books theoretical knowledge . You have to leave students to reserach them self and come up with answers with some practical knowledge , ofcourse it is not possible in every stage but can be possible in most of the stages in education .

People like that are shunned by our educational system of broker reservation based admittance and where kids of 6th grade have to put aside the human aspect of playing and being normal and have to mug up old books from 4Am to 8 am. This is compounded by the fact that they would never use that education again. All of this mugging up is to inculcate focus and grasp of complex concepts I know that. But to overrate an institution that takes 11000 students among 1 million applicants, its crazy. People need to break this system and start building institutions that offer good education to everybody. There must be premium institutions where your evaluation is done based on your personality type and education must discover and enhance your natural abilities. IIT -> Technology -> entrance exams -> same old tech jobs to foreign companies. This must change. The real make in india would happen not when you invite Apple to put shop in India and hire workers. Its when real innovators are not shunned because they couldnt mug up like rats in a storage container.

Mathematics is life. And I’m not saying that because I love it, but because it makes so much sense once you understand the concepts of it and you’ll truly realize how much it is used in daily life it is so ridiculous the fact that we don’t know how much we use maths every day and perhaps most of us just don’t appreciate that. The technology we use today, all the software that we use to do our work, and even entertainment all come from programming which wouldn’t be possible without mathematics, the 24-hour discovery of days wouldn't be possible without science and of course maths, the medium/system of exchange to get things also known as money wouldn’t be possible without maths, all the architecture and the precise measurements of their areas and stability wouldn’t have been possible without Maths. Overall I believe Maths was indeed discovered as it was always going to be present on Earth from the day Earth first began. In my eyes, I see modern Maths as a different interpretation of itself because I believe Maths can come in many forms such as symbols as well as numbers which we use today since we are used to them sincechild hood
