There are so many shots where I thought it was mainly CGI but turn out to be mostly done in camera and vice versa. I seriously couldn’t tell what was real and what was computer generated. Stupendous!
Also, that Nirvana/Batman trailer remix is now stuck in my head :)
The full video was amazing and it’s cool to see how much work goes into videos like this 👍
Thanks so much! There's definitely alot of blood, sweat and tears poured into big projects like this.
@@AntBandit What did you use for the minifigure holders. Like the twisted rods for jumping etc. (1:47)
Wow I literally just saw the Jokers bank robbery yesterday. I was wondering how you did all the car chase scenes. I’m glad you did a BTS. Good job!
Thanks so much!
@@AntBandit do you know when you’ll be able to post a non-commission video again?
@@cardboardclips5036 I actually just finished up another commission two months ago that will be releasing soon, and im currently working on two other commissioned shorts (one is for Disney)! I'll be doing multiple BTS videos after these commissions release, after that I have several original shorts I want to work on. I typically always choose paid work over my own shorts, but I'm hoping to crank out a bunch of content for this channel over the next 4 months or so. Thanks for your patience :)
@@AntBandit no problem man! You sound really busy, but honestly that sounds like a really fun job, glad you’re still gonna be releasing content!
Very cool
You did an awesome job on those two videos, congrats!!
Beautiful! Absolutely, undeniably beautiful! I love how LEGO actually gave us a Batmobile that strongly resembled the one from Arkham Knight. I love how we now get to add Bronze Tiger to our Suicide Squad Collections. I love everything about these new sets! Keep it up LEGO, we need more DC sets with more characters. A Solomon Grundy big-fig would be great
Oh this was pretty nice, I always love BTS content from other animators and yours are one of the better out there. Well done, man and keep up this amazing work!
This’s literally the best Lego batman stop motion I’ve ever seen on this planet so far! Your animation and cinematography are phenomenal! Great job👏
Thanks so much!
Ant Bandit he's right tho. If you put this kinda effort into A more serious less whimsical and campy animation it would be god tier.
Respect👏
The big batcave scene is just amazing👏
I just subscribed your channel. Your stop motion videos are amazing!
These animations were surprisingly good
Thanks so much!
I'm not a batman fan but I loved how you made the video hope that one day I get to something like
Great I liked and subscribed nice job
Wow!
Ooh that looks cool. Can’t wait!
Thank you very much for sharing your expertise and experience with the community. Your movie inspires me a lot, and especially I like your lighting and camera movement.
This is amazing
This is so epic! Amazing work
Amazing!!
Amazing the video turned out amazing it's so awesome to see how you did it! Great work man
Really awesome behind the scenes!
Dude this is freaking incredible!!!
I'm always glad to see brickfilmers landing such epic gigs great job bro banger videos🤙
OMG ! AMAZING !
Great Video. Thank you for thr look behind the scenes
Wow, it's amazing 👏👏👍👍
Loved it . Love the actual videos and this behind the scenes was an enjoyable watch. I’m glad to see you doing so successful keep it up
Amazing work keep it up
That’s fire
Your making soo great stuff! That’s insane!! I watched it with my brother, greatings from him too, your a legend!
WOOOW this is another level !!! someday i will get to do things like that :D
So informative! The original vid was so cinematic
Amazing how you put so much detail in your stop motion
Dude you are a beast. Keep crushing it man!
They were incredible, brilliant job man :)
You guys are genuinely underrated!
This just rocks! I love this kind of content! DC needs to make more content like this and less creepy adult oriented Batman/DC content.
I can just imagine how much this took for it too look amazingly smooth nice job!
Damn man this looks epic 🔥🔥
Your brick films are seriously amazing! The animation and the green screen effects work so good together. Are you ever going to make a brick film for fun? Not for a commission?
Also, I have a question: how do you do motion blur with stop motion?
Thanks so much! I have a really long backlog of "just for fun" animations that I want to make, but its difficult to find the time. I always prioritize the commissioned work first. As for motion blur, we used an AE add-on called Reel Smart Motion blur on this project.
@@AntBandit What kind of camera do you use?
@@MisterRubbernose I shot this short with a Sony A73!
Amazing I can’t wait for the actual thing! You Gained Yourself a Sub!
Thanks! The videos are actually released already on the DC kids youtube channel (link in description) so you dont have to wait to watch them :)
I dont know how but your animation is amazing
Wow very cool
Those videos were really amazing! great job!
Thanks!
This is cool
This is so good I cant believe it! Coming from a brickfilmer to, hope to be like you one day!!
Love this! Especially since it is Batman. I don't know why I didn't check out your stuff sooner Adam. See you on Old Gray Bricks.
Thanks so much Tim! I really appreciate that
Cool 😎
Bruh cool af
Wow the BTS is just as entertaining as the video.
Nice🤗🤗
Your on the Forestfire level of stop-mo!
Masterpiece, also where did u get the music?
The reason robin uses medium legs is because lego made them and he isn't that short but he is kind of a preteen
I always think like man this has had to take them at least 1 month or more.
Must take a while to animate all that but cool👍
I would do this... if I had the Legos and or money. Very Cool
Im gonna try to make my own lego stop motion video but it will take me sometime building the sets an riting the story
I have some of those sets
Amazing..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................keep it up
Name set in the bat cave with nightwing & batgirl
Mabe just a little less Motion Blur looks cool but a its just todo much anyway its aweosome and supeeer cool
2:30 Tell me. How many 6863 Lego sets did you guys buy just for the henchman minifigure?
I ordered all the figures online through Bricklink! No need to buy multiple copies of sets to acquire figures these days
How can we make such a professional film??? Can you tell me ??
Awesome video! What made you lean towards the Sony a7iii for stop motion?
For me it was between the 5D Mark IV and the A7III. The A7III is more budget friendly while being extremely comparable specs wise. I also wanted a good low light camera which Sony excels at. Overall a great camera!
Hey I absolutely loved this video, its amazing to see everyones process of making a brick film amazing and its clear everyone has their own awesome way. Quick question: Where do you get those stock images of lego skyscrapers and lego caves that you used when compositing?
Thanks man! Those elements aren't actually stock assets. Both the Batcave and the City backgrounds were 3D modeled in Blender and then transformed into LEGO structures using a plugin called Bricker.
@@AntBandit Thanks alot for the quick reply, so is it confirmed that you can build an entire city using a green screen and cgi using blender and if so are there any tutorials to help beginers get started?
@@thepurplematrix7584 Yes in theory thats definitely possible! I hired some talented friends for the VFX for this (VFX is not my strong suit) so I wouldn't know specifically where to send you. I know there are plenty if tutorials out there for Blender though amd Blender itself is free
@@AntBandit Alright thanks I'll look it up, I'm pretty sure this method of using cgi for sets has been used by big names like Forrestfire if I'm not wrong. Thanks for the Input! 👍
@@thepurplematrix7584 It definitely has, Bricks Brought to Life created the brick-built cgi backgrounds for some of Forrest's videos and he's the one who did mine too. :D
Well made! how many FPS do you have?
I shot this specific project in 15fps
@@AntBandit thanks. do sometimes use more?
Pls make vid of how to
Do you use Premiere for editing? wow.....클래스 ㄷㄷ
la musique 🥰🥰
I really want to know how to erase the vire that you use for stopmotin
Hi so hopefully you see this comment but how did you edit that camera tv scene in the batcave, it didn’t look like you greenscreened it or anything but put the camera overlay onto it, and what editing software do you use also? Thank you
Where did you get the wire to hold the figures in the air? I always have a hard time figuring out new, better ways of suspending minifigures in the air while still being able to pose them.
I primarily use basic aluminum wire from Home Depot. I twist two lengths of wire together to make it a bit stronger than just one.
How can I get an image of a building or cave made of blocks used in the background of stop motion?
My VFX artists used a couple different techniques for the cave shots in this. We designed the cave in 3D, then used a Blender plugin called Bricker to turn that render into a LEGO structure, split up into different layers. Each of these layers were exported as separate images, then composited in as backgrounds with the physical sets and animation.
I definitely recommend using Bricker for making large LEGO backgrounds like caves!
Hi, I have a question that maybe you can help me, which is better for chroma, green or blue screen? Thank you for your time and very good video, it is inspiring 🙏🤖👏🏻
Technically, any color can be used for chroma as long as it is different from the colors in your set! Green and blue both work great. There are plenty of great tutorials and guides out there you can check out!
@@AntBandit thaaanks!!! 😁👏🏻🤖🙏
Who voiced the characters in this video? Specifically Batman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn.
What kind of editing app do you recommend for a phone and where do get your Legos for cheap
For editing on a phone I would recommend using Premiere Rush. For official animations for LEGO they send me the sets I need for the video, but I purchase all the other LEGO myself. I usually purchase LEGO from Bricklink to build all the sets and backgrounds
How do u have less then 4k subs this is like block buster quality shit
Ok.
Did you use pipe cleaner wires to make Man Bat fly?
I used aluminum wire I purchased from a hardware store!
Tu trabajo es perfecto, no entiendo por que al usar tus videos, DC no te da credito..
What's the name of this app
What frame rate that you use👍
I animated this at 15fps! Previously I've worked mostly with 24fps, but 15fps was right for this project
Ok,thank you👍
485
Why does this look like A commercial XD
Because it was! I was hired to make this film for LEGO and DC.
@@AntBandit ooohhhhh 🤣🤣🤣 sorry but that's really cool 👍
It’s fcking annoying that you only have 3000 subs
1 Peter 5:7 “Turn all your anxiety over to God because he cares for you.” Jesus loves you dont give up on him!❤!
I Can't Watch The Original, Because It's For Kids.
