Don't be scared! Try to learn as much as possible, normalize the process for yourself. We're all nervous for sure but being informed has been super reassuring, all the other women have been doing this and trust that your body will know what to do! I find it helpful to imagine a thing I can focus on while I'm trying to breathe. I'm close to my due date and this is my first birth as well. I also just want to be safe and come out well and healthy. Never know what's going to be happen but we got this mama!

Im pregnant with my third girl. Im so tired of being pregnant im exhausted, cant sleep, Braxton hicks and lower back pain, alot of bathroom breaks, leg pain sometimes i can barely walk i feel so heavy.. Cant wait to meet her and hold and kiss little feet and hands 38 weeks 😍😘💝🤗
At the end when talking about body changes and she said "you've just grown a human being, your body rocks" I teared up. ❤ I've definitely gained way more weight than I would have liked and I miss feeling like myself, but her saying that made me feel better.

38 weeks today and due on Dec 12, 2019! I'm so tired and I feel so heavy. I'm so ready to meet my baby girl but at the same time, I'm savouring the last moments I have with her moving around in my belly. It's one of the best feelings I've felt so far on this journey of motherhood and I'm gonna miss these quiet moments when I'm in bed, with my hand on my belly, feeling her move around so much. I don't know if anyone else feels the same way lol. I'm also getting nervous for the labour part but I know it'll all be worth it when I finally get to hold her in my arms ❤️

It’s May 30th 2020 and we are in quarantine (in the US) so having a baby is different these days but we are all very excited to meet our baby boy!! I found out I was pregnant at 8 weeks or so. I'm now 38 weeks and I have been watching you every week and y'all have been such a blessing. I'm not planning to parent my baby, I have chosen to go with adoption and the message at the end of each video "you are not alone" has always been a huge source of comfort to me. So thank you for that!! I love your videos and everything about Channel Mum! ❤
Update: literally 2 days after I posted this comment I went into labor. She was 7lbs 7oz and 19in long. And absolutely beautiful. I only had constant and painful contractions, starting at 15 mins apart and I went into the hospital at 2am when they were 3-5 mins apart.

I always feel weird hearing women say they feel like they look so gross and don’t want anyone to see them. Being pregnant can be very uncomfortable but it’s also such a beautiful thing that it’s hard to wrap my mind around people putting so much emphasis on aesthetics. 🤷🏻♀️
For me it isn't the pregnancy itself that makes me feel gross, it's that I am so tired and sore that I haven't been taking care of myself like I used to and I'm such an awkward shape that clothes don't really fit me anymore. I don't have the energy to do my makeup or hair in the morning, my belly is always trying to hang out of my clothes, my pants never want to stay in the right position, and I can't reach my legs to shave or take care of my toenails. That kind of stuff makes me feel very frumpy🥲
Maybe just let women feel how they feel. Hormones, pain and discomfort amount to a general feeling of ick. Women aren't being shallow, they're nesting or isolating because it feels right. If people don't feel beautiful, leave them to it. You don't know their history or previous traumas. Maybe someone told them they weren't beautiful and it hurt.
Everyone is different and it's a hard journey.
I must say, this channel is really an eye opener, specially for me as a first time mom. Although everyone’s pregnancy experiences are different, it’s good to know that there are others that could be going through similar things as you. I recently gave birth at 38 weeks and I felt prepared! With these videos and doing some research on my own, I was able to cope with all the changes that occurred physically/mentally. I truly appreciate all the strong women who have the courage to participate in these videos. Thank you all for letting us join you on this wonderful journey! ❤️

Love this channel, I am 38 weeks with my rainbow baby and having a scheduled C-section in 9 days. Rainbow baby is a child after loss, as I lost my newborn son to SIDS last year. I am so nervous but excited... Thanks for these videos!

I'm 38 weeks tomorrow. This is the farthest along I've ever gotten in a pregnancy. My first son was born at 36 weeks. I'm honestly amazed to still be pregnant!
38 weeks today with my first baby, and I haven't really had any symptoms other than my lower back hurts if I walk around for a bit, but I also have a bad lower back so that's no surprise. Just exhausted and excited to feel some progress
I had bloody show at my doctors appointment at 36 weeks and I’m still pregnant at 38 weeks! I’m just putting that out there to ease anyone’s mind who has had it and hasn’t went into labor yet or is concerned it’s very close. We’re all different. :)

Just had my Babygirl on the 26th. I had bloody show the day before and then contractions started by early evening the next day and she was born by 2:42AM.

Kinda have the type of pain you were talking about right now...Dull period pain very low and radiating towards my pelvis and up...I am hoping he is ready to come out. I'm 38 weeks and 2 days. I'm having trouble sleeping. Getting comfortable is difficult and needing to pee all the time too. I have SPD (diagnosed at 20 weeks) which is very painful now. Can't wait to meet baby now. It's so exciting!!! Come on little one!!!
Just wanted to thank you for those videos. They accompanied me and my husband thoughout the pregnancy and helped us a lot with the worries and stress of the wait. In the end my baby boy was born an 38.6 wks on the 15.11.2021, with less than 2h labour from the 1st contraction! He is gorgeous and healthy and we feel very proud and lucky
I've got 12 days left until my due date and keep looking out for signs. I've been doing a lot of organising and cleaning lol. Also having slight leak of fluid but nothing major. Had a few crampy feelings but they have gone so I don't know. All I know is that I'm dead nervous and scared 😭

It is Friday Jan. 3, 2020. I'm exactly 38 weeks today. In exactly 1 week I will be going in to deliver my last baby and 1st boy, (I have 2 girls). I'm so excited to meet him because things are just beyond uncomfortable, but still trying to enjoy this last week of carrying him because I'm never doing this again. Apparently, I’m having contractions but I don’t feel any of them right now. My midwife felt them on my stomach as she was measuring my belly. I have not dilated so still at home waiting for baby #3, hoping I’m prepared enough.

About to hit 38 weeks, will be having a c section at 39 weeks as long as she doesn't come early. I've been watching these videos each week. Very informative. I've been having bad pains in my lower back and Braxton Hicks. I've found a lot of first trimester symptoms have returned too.

Finding myself over analysing and worrying about every niggle because I had no signs of labour with my first and he arrived within 1hr 55mins of my first pain, only just making it to the hospital in time. Keeping everything crossed we make it to hospital on time and baby girl makes a safe arrival into the world 💖
Today makes 38 weeks for me. I’m feeling a lot of emotions like anxious, nervous, excited and exhausted. My man and I can’t wait to see our baby girl hopefully soon 🙏🏾😭❤️❤️
