I love your review and agree… Why is it so hard for people to be kind to Jennifer? She really showed who she is in the documentary, and you’re right she’s a great actress. I love her rom coms and this project was great. Her music should be taken fun and lightly, it’s good vibes.

The channels are generally biased and contribute to giving JLo a bad image. It’s this outburst of jealous and haters that perhaps pushed JLo to honestly expose part of her life. Only a courageous woman is able of talking about her weaknesses and in this JLo is admirable and exceptional; in addition to the fact that she’s a Powerful Star, one of the most influential Women in the World.
El Cantante played with Marc Anthony, Selena and Hustlers are her most beautiful films where she deserved an Oscar.
She’s a hard worker ! I love how JLo still keeps grinding and putting out movie after movie and it still goes to #1. Admirable !

She probably doesn't think people know she's worthy. If you see the way people talk about her online, it's not hard to understand why.
there's some truth to that. but i think proving ppl wrong is distracting her from selecting roles that prove she's actually a formidable actor.
this is me now is a way to prove she's lovable despite being a serial monogamist in relationships that failed. that's also a distraction, imo

She got some new projects coming up, one is a serious biopic, it only need a release date
She could have peeled back the layers of the Taino story as an actual movie for $6M. She could have hired writers to sort out and edit different aspect of of harboring feelings for a broken person (be it herself or loving an addict). She also could have gone the moulin Rouge route using pop music to convey the dance numbers connecting the audience with the feeing of a storyline and elude to her true feelings in her album which could have rolled out after the movie especially if no one wants new JLO music. I want to be sensitive to this piece because it feels like open emotional wound that is supposed to be “cured” by love. What is awful is knowing she married a person with alcohol addiction and the road ahead is no picnic. Maybe her using her money made her rush through and cut pivotal lines or scenes that would have given it more cohesion.

20 mins watching the docu & she is SO RUDE to everyone, even Ben made a comment about her being scared of her age & the look she gave him … she wanted to kill him. I always said they’re not together - they live totally separately - she could not accept being dumped yet again and so she concocted this PR story about love for the ages, second reason is being safe from prosecution cuz she knew diddy will go down one day & she gave him the gun that night. Like someone said, she didn’t even mention her kids at all in either projects, people now know Ashanti sang her songs, Christina Milian sang her songs and many more. People now know she’s HORRIBLE towards people.
“I’m not the same person I was 20 yrs ago” she says at some point. Lady, if a person doesn’t change in 20 yrs, that’s an issue. She said it with sadness though.
She CANNOT accept she’s aging and that she cannot have a successful relationship. No man wants to be with a woman like her - who is rude who is in love with herself who thinks she’s 25, who forgets she’s a mother.
I feel so sorry for Ben, he aged 20 years in 2 years.
