I thought I could get away without a toolbox for a while but the simple matter of fact is that pest control technicians need a ton of different products and equipment on hand at all times! It is possible to not have a toolbox, but that just means spending more time planning each morning what equipment you do or don't need for the day and ain't no body got time for that! I think this toolbox was a very worthwhile investment. Let me know what I need to add to my toolbox or what products and tools you other pest technicians use! I really like the black look. This was a craftsman's brand purchased from Lowe's. Asheville, get ready! Catchy Pest Solutions is here to provide top-notch pest control services with a touch of professionalism and a hint of Southern hospitality. Our toolbox is prepped, our team is ready, and we're committed to making your homes pest-free and comfortable.

Our trucks had a cab cover and on the left side when you opened the compartment it was a decent sized locker. I called it my ready locker, I kept all the stuff I used on a daily basis like glue boards, snap traps, get bait, etc. It was super handy. In the bed of the truck I had all of my product arranged in alphabetical order, I cut the tops off the boxes so at a glance I knew how much product was in each box. I carried just about anything imaginable in the back of my truck and it was so neat and organized that at the end of each week with a simple glance I knew what material I would need to pick up at the warehouse. It made the job much easier in the field because I never had to look for anything, in the back of the truck. That's what eight years in the military and a little OCD will do to you lol. I also washed, waxed and cleaned the interior of my truck every Friday once my work was done. My truck was always immaculate compared to the ratty looking vehicles most of the guys drove. Remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

They're not looking at you because you're talking to yourself. They're looking at you because you're gorgeous. Hey, stick some foam like weather stripping foam in between the tool box and the tank. Get a socket set for the drill to tighten down the bolts. I would also add the two that you didn't want to add. Those bolts can jiggle loose and fall out then you got no bolts. I'd get a gun rack for the wand and put that sucker in the back window. You're in NC now! 😄

Hahaha maybe ;) man that's all great advice haha! i would like to think Asheville is pretty safe! I will definitely tighten down the bolts

B&G has a Lockable box specifically for B&G spray cans but you can fit other stuff in it too
I recommend it for keeping in the cab of the truck

That Carolina sky in the background though!!! Was just at that (S)Lowe’s a couple of days ago. Tractor Supply would have saved you some $$. Only use Lowe’s once in a blue moon. If you need an extra set of hands I’m not far. Just so you know.

I can't believe you guys are still digging termite trenches? Why don't you just use the baits in the ground? Sentricon or something like that

If you can get with a big brand, you can be a 6 figure pest tech without sales from Virginia down to Florida. Of course, depending on the route you are on.

@@tybh that must be nice! I've worked with one of the largest companies and in my area that wasn't the case or I would have stayed. Maybe I should move 😂 My friend works with a large company and worked with a smaller local company before that. He made more with the small company, but not by much.

      @tybh Před 6 měsíci +1

@Crumpman very true. I've been with them for 15years and it's had its ups and downs. That's also how it is with commission pay but ever since 2020 it's been great. But as they say more money, more problems and that's a fact.

      @@DanTheBugMan yea overall ranking
BASF obviously has Termidor HE, Alpine WSG, Alpine fly bait, Alpine Roach bait, Alpine flea foggers etc.
Ensystex has Bithor SC for insides and Maxxthor SC for outsides + they have the only clear roach gel bait where as other roach baits look unprofessional if the customer can find where you placed the gel bait too noticeable
MGK has Nyguard IGR (the best one), Shockwave Aerosol (best flushing agent), Nyguard + flea foggers (best flea fogger) you can fog sideways which is a game changer Onslaught fast cap and Crossfire (best bedbug product)
Syngenta obviously has Demand CS and Advion products and Talon weatherblock (I prefer Contrac tho)
Bayer has Suspend polyzone and Maxforce quantum (best ant bait)
Bayer has a really shady history tho other than joining Monsanto they had a drug infected with HIV and still sold it
CSI has cyper TC I don’t like CSI because they have stores all over Houston taking work away from pros
Zoecon has gentrol point source which has a vapor effect but they also own Domyown which I don’t like for the same reason I don’t like CSI
