Anyone here from the LA area? This is so true, I have a friend in Benin exporting whole pineapples to Europe. Now he's trying to find ways to process them locally because of major losses (rotting of fresh pineapples) when there are disruptions to the supply chain. Also, any conversations about rural exodus? It's hard to find farm workers in some places..

Hiii, were in Africa at the moment, with low data.. Can u make you videos downloadable again so we can watch offline and show our families in the village! 😊 Thanks keep up the good work!
Bingo. This is where the next African dollar billionaires will come from. Especially if the execute using vertical integration.
Indeed, Victor. Let us all continue to march, to educate, and to support & cooperate with each other.
Hi, what is vertical integration
victoria vintage vertical integration is when a business owns several components of the production and marketing of its offering. For example, in agriculture, you can be the primary producer, processor and distributor of your product. Vertical integration offers greater control on things like price & quality, which give a greater competitive advantage.

I started putting up a production facility in Ghana but still not sure what specifically to produce yet, my hand was up in our last zoom meeting the entire time to ask this question and now it looks like I will get the answer in the next video.

@DrHarnet thank you for the excellent work you do. I'm interested in starting an agriculture business in Uganda. What would be your advice on how to get started as someone in the Diaspora
Dear Mechia, great to hear about your plan in Uganda. Well, first of all it is a business model that really requires you to be on the ground most of the time. Unless you put together a farmers' cooperative where you do not do the land management yourself, but you only find the buyers in the West where you are based. My second quick advice would be to focus on non-traditional products the hotel & hospitality industry in Uganda and the East Africa region needs. It is a fast growing industry that would make a great buyer-base for you. Focusing on their unique demand is a strategy that helps you stand out. Hope these were quick useful tips.
@@dr.harnet466 thank you for this advice ❤
Which country is this you're at?
Hello Dr. Harnet, I’m a young man finishing his bachelors degree and I’m thinking about taking a masters in supply chain managent. Do you think that’s a good direction in if I also want to get into Africa’s food production?
Dr Harney
Are those really cherries or plums.
Hey doctor harnet I appreciate what you are doing and you are realy an inspiration for me, I am an eritrean man living in uk, though I leaved her for short time and don't have enough money, it is worth to invest some where, please share if you have any idea to join an investment group or any other means to start. thank you
It is great to see your ambition. It depends on what you want to achieve. You can start your own African business model on a shoestring budget (even in the UK), which would allow for a different lifestyle and wealth creation while supporting Africa. You can also invest at small scale, but in financial terms you would probably get the benefits only after many years. I would start building a business....and later invest.
@@dr.harnet466Ow thank you very much, good idea.
Which country are you in?
Under value exports slashed away money oversras by politicians business house and bad admin management power shortage and workers work ethic atittude of responsibilty towards own country is biggest setback 🌀
Self sustain many small projects details I send them women empowerment then resource management planning etc.. I'm sorry there is major lack of trust and faith in ownselves itself sitting with resources neglected badly food is most critical part that needs good coordination N resources management priority
Where are you from
Hello dear.
Can you help me setup a small business in Africa. I would like to open fastfood corner or grocery store.
will you like to visit Africa?
Get into CBD oil , and look into different farming techniques being used around the world.. take your produce and make it into a product for export: like organic soaps!
Greenhouses, which are dug into the earth, for year round harvesting!

Wow wow nice job,,, please help me to start this work
Thank you, Glory. Start with thinking about the industry in which you want to build a business. Then look for the biggest challenges, gaps, needs in that industry in your country. Choose one major challenge you will address. Now formulate a business model around finding a solution for that challenge. This is the foundation.
Thanx I appreciate you
