I have the Chanel Deauville in the black/white & I totally agree that you don't need to take another bag for a beach bag once you arrive at your destination. I am getting more and more intrigue by the Onthego bag. However, I always like a zipper on my bigger bags for safety feeling. I am afraid of things falling out if my bag tumbles or falls. I do agree that the ysl one doens't work as well as a travel bag since it is so compact.

The Lv is too loud for travelling n hard to match. The Light pink insides would mean that it will get dirty easily. The dior tote cant be carried on the shoulder so when u shop and have paper bags to carry, its soo hard. M still lookin for the perfect travel bag that doesnt weigh me down n looks chic. Even the Hermes canvas garden party bag is crap. The chanel deuville chains hurt my shoulders. Pls do hunt around more.
Zereen Ismail the perfect bag shud be light weight, chic , durable, safe for inflight when u fall asleep, flexible to be stored in luggage when u decide to buy another bag during an extravagant trip, easy to carry n doesnt hurt ur shoulder or wrists. I have been hunting for the past 10years n i really like the hermes bolide but again its not exactly a dumping bag. The Goyard straps r too thin n it cuts into ur skin when its too heavy. Let me know if u find one

Great points to consider, Tamara. Like in my quest for the perfect camera bag to hold all my lenses and stuff,,,,,you learn there is no #1 perfect bag for all occasions. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing,,it means we can keep looking and trying and adding 😉 Do you know if the Saint Laurent Rive Gauche totes are coated? Seems like I heard they were,,but it doesn’t look like it from product descriptions I’ve seen.
It fits for sure macbook pro 15, they both do. But dont ask me to choose please😭 chanel fits on shoulder, dioe doesn, but Dior fits much more inside and if you put it on top of a rolling luggage its amazing xx

Under the seat always when possible, i love having my stuff around me - you know snacks, earphones, lap top, lip balm all sorts :)
