Was wary about titling this video an "all cutscenes' like most of our vids, so decided to just go with "game movie" only. I was very tempted to title it "audiobook" haha. So many audio logs. There is literally only one cutscene and that's the intro cutscene. It was tough editing this one since there isn't much dialogue to fluidly carry one scene to the next, so mostly I used the mission objectives on the top right as a guide to how the video should flow. All that being said, there definitely is a story, and there is much more story out there to find in more audio logs and documents. So if your'e the type of person who likes exploring game worlds and finding cool lore, you'll see that all over Fallout 76.
What you won't get? A worthwhile single player RPG story. That's just the plain truth of it. It was fun for us, even though we rushed it a bit, but a lot of was because we got to play with friends. I don't know how it would have felt to do it solo all the way.
It sucks too, because there is some genuinely interesting lore here, and the audio logs are well done. In many ways it reminds me Destiny and the grimoire cards. Too often, it sounded like the real story was in the audio logs. I would have rather played through the experiences they were describing as oppose to
me always being 20 years behind. Anyway, if you want a general idea of how the story plays out, here's our 35 hours, cut down to 2. We hope you enjoy!

seems like its based around the worlds first experience with the fallout.. like just seeing ghouls for the first time and the wastelands mutated creatures..
playing fallout 3 or 4 the people have lived in the fallout for years already and have adjusted accordingly... lol the ppl in this are totally lost as to what the hell the world has become and
really havent a clue what they are in store for.. honestly it feels more engaging then a normal fallout or not as predictable, making the desire to see what comes next a lot stronger then

Roaming the wasteland drunk off their ass and breaking the game as much as it breaks the lore.
Edit: it actually doesn’t break the lore all that much, it takes Hell of leaps, but hopefully the brotherhood there are just people who come from alternative military bases or scouts.
Also why do they pick up the knightly tone in their voice?
It makes me smile believing the ‘mighty knights of steel’ picked up their stuff from soldiers trying to cope with stressful situations such as the talkative droids in Star Wars.
If you get the reference comparing brotherhood to droids and where it’s relevant, you win a cookie.

Ok, i just watched about 30 minutes of this, and i can't take it anymore (great job making videos like this, not your fault). I basically read manuals and documentations for a living, and i found this here game unbearably boring. I honestly found it more fun to read the M$ Server 2016 manual than watching this. FO4 was a strech in my imagination, the main quest was about as enticing as watching paint dry, but the characters in the world were fun. Oh, don't forget the base building (which i tried, and don't ever wish to experience again) Here they stuck with the paint (from what i can grasp so far) and our beloved quirky NPCs got replaced by robots. Great. I see Fallout 5, where you are the last surviving living organism on a planet without water. You can't do much, but after about an hour the game is over anyway and you unlocked some super rare achievement for dying from dehydration. Or even better, leave the gameplay part out completely, just show us a logo, credits and play some music.
I get the "it's more fun with friends", but seriously, what is this? This is supposed to be fun, but it sure doen't look like it.
I have to admit, i haven't touched the game myself, only saw a buddy playing it (better: i saw in discord that he was playing it). Asked him how it is, he hasn't given me an answer. It's not that we didn't talk, he just ignores me on that topic. Nothing about this bodes well so far.

No being a gamer, I liked this. It was fun for me to watch. Now I can check in on the others commencing with the side quests knowing the story. Thanks GLP.

Given how buggy this game is, I gotta give props to the guys who played and edited this, especially the editing. That must have been a serious chore. Big props just for doing a playthru of this lifeless, boring game. Todd Howard should dipped in a vat of FEV for making this abortion.

It seems that they just basically made a PvPvE post nuclear apocalypse game with minimal story telling and character interaction unloved fallout 4 as you had tons of ways to shape the outcome of the Commonwealth but in this you are just fighting against the environment and jerk ball players who love to prey on low level players

I haven't played this game yet but thinking of getting it, until, I read it's a 3 start and they changed they price down to around $35. Why are people giving this game bad reviews online, Just Curious?
It pretty much came out as a dud. They had issues with people hacking and “leveling” up so high that they just ran through and smacked enemies and other players. The game glitched a lot and was a “half-baked” concept when they released it.
Usually Bethesda releases half-baked games and they go amazingly! But 76 is a multiplayer, and I think that’s where they went wrong. Its difficult and irritating when you can have other people murder you while trying to do a quest.
I found it extremely difficult because I was a level 5 and the enemies did not match my level. I had a level 6-8 enemy. That doesn’t make sense. I had packs of wolves kill me in one hit because my level was so much lower than theirs.
I think it’s just a failure compared to FallOut 4. 4 was a masterpiece and had an interesting story line, where as this is just you running around collecting Hilo tapes for a majority of the game.
I think Bethesda made a bad call when they decided to release this game. It’s sad, I usually love Bethesda’s FallOut series, but this one just came out as crap. Underdeveloped, underperforming, and just plain boring. The glitches and issues with the software were enough to make me quit.
Anyway, sorry for the long comment, but this is why I personally don’t like the game and I think a lot of others would agree with my points.

It always bothered me how Wasteland looks burned after so many years. Actually, after nuclear war, there would be lush forests all around in no time. Not many birds and probably mutated boars around, but trees would look healthy and nice :) Plants or mushrooms are not so bothered with radiation, really.
So I have a quick question what ever happened to stopping the scorched plague. What would launching a nuke do to help stop the plague??

I thought, the whole premise of the Fallout series was about nukes being a bad thing.
Every Fallout game (since 3, at least) gives you one or more opportunities to nuke something.

Different messages could be translated through interaction with nukes. In previous installments those were portrayed as a deeply dehumanising manifestation of unlimited destructive potential. An option to blow up Megatonn in F3, just like the option to destroy Gecko powerplant in F2 demonstrated the grave consequences this power can bring when used arbitrarily. Launcing a nuke towards China in F3 while going through an abandoned military facility, on the contrary, demonstrated the lack of imminent responsibility for pepole wielding this power. Blowing up Masters cathedral in F1 tries to somewhat justify the use of nukes when faced with seemingly unstoppable evil. And by deciding who to bomb in F:NVs DLC "the divide", the player is supposed to answer the question, if the new, post-apocalyptic humanity is worth fighting for at all.
Whereas in Fallout 76 nukes are just a funny little toy you get access to after you beat the game. You can blow up stuff, fight new enemies and seek unique resources amidst the devastation you have just brought about. And nobody even dies. Guilt-free fun!
I personally don't believe it to be an appropriate message. The fact that people generally see very little problem with it also tells a lot about our society.

Would like to see more diversified power armor sets with different weapons and systems layouts, also time to get into the rebuilding phase of Earth continent to continent seeing the other armor designs but also how others are surviving in their part of the world.

Thank you for this video. This game is even more dumb and stupid than I thought. Few years back I thought that worst and more boring game than Fallout 4 we will never see... I don't understand why nobody cares about logic. Overseer who so cares about hers people takes very important piece of technology (CAMP), leave vault and then she left CAMP somewhere in the wasteland because she wants to be her people save and have CAMP? WTF? And I dont talk about systematic leaving vault as civilised people together with supplies. Why would you do that? It is just apocalypse what about leaving some people behind? Sounds great? :-D OMFG soo stupid..
This is a terrible game. There is no strength in the story. The previous 3 that we have watched have great stories , a beautiful environment . It really feels like a barren wasteland in those. We waited so long for this garbage? really!

Fallout : Monotony is a better title. Seriously, collecting resources and crafting is so garbage in this game. Same with the A.I of the enemies, and this mainly a shooter and if the enemies suck, then that's like 75% of the game ruined and garbage.
