Shopping Cart Birthday

June 4, 1987, KMOT-TV, Minot, ND - It was the 50th anniversary of the shopping cart and, because I can make a feature story out of just about anything, I went to the supermarket to examine the current experience with and future design of the shopping cart. It's fun to see what people predicted the shopping cart would be like 13 years in the future -- the year 2000. Transferred from 3/4 inch videotape via ADVC 300 and into iMovie HD.
