- Here are a couple more full-sized aircraft from another era which turned up at the Tokoroa airfield last year.
Sorry, no RC plane in this video.
The Auster is owned by the same guy whose Tiger Moth I featured some months ago and the Piper Cub just happened to fly in on a very windy day last year.
The Auster is another great candidate for a scale model so I've tried to focus on some of the detail that scale modelers like to see.
CONGRADULATIONS ON YOUR 200th VIDEO BRUCE!!!!!!!!!!
I had my first plane ride in an Auster in 1959 at Monduran station Queensland Australia
Yes
@ShoGinn you know this is new zealand right??? not aussie...just making sure you know
Lovely old Auster J/1B Aiglet Trainer with a certain aeroplane patina obtained over hundreds of flying hours, keep these videos going Bruce of these historic aircraft.
Beautiful plane, The owner really cares for it, it really shows!!
What I always regard as real Austers. For me it has to be the de Havilland engine. If you want a flat engine buy American.
Beautiful Auster... I similar to the good and old wine...thanks
Great full size planes, Love your guys field... now to convince the wife we need to make an aussie vacation and involve your field!
Hey Bruce, whats happened to the RCmodel reviews web site, not much happening there any more :-( still waiting for your telemetry project is it still happening? Oh yeah I like these videos as well.

I am building a stick build Cub...thanks for showing some of the details!.. I want to make it as authentic as possible. What a nice bird ! Thanks for the video Bruce.. When I am done with my build I can post a maiden, gonna be many many hours of build time..thanks again!
