The part about the cats going missing had me crying 😂
Possibly my favourite episode!
What a great listen. One of my all time favourites. What a gem
Browny's Dad looks like Browny with the old person snapchat filter on!
It happens with family
Class lads. Yer Auld Man is some character. 😂😂😂👍🏼🍻 @41:22 I’m in hysterics 😂😂😂
What a top bloke!!
One of the most entertaining ones because it’s Brownies Dad!!!
No wonder Brownies so laid back!!!
Bet Bombers’ everyone’s favourite mate, Uncle, etc!!
Lovely guy!!!
I remember watching Alan Brown from the Fulwell end and loved him. Quite a few years later I was chuffed when he turned up at one of my adult comedy shows at The Flagship in Blackpool. I managed to get him on stage to take part in one of the games. This involved losing some of your clothes. Now I know in this episode Alan said he didn't have any footage of his goals but I'm pretty certain that I have footage of his time on stage in Blackpool. 😂 Great episode and keep up the good work!
Hope you’re well Phillie, he said he lost more than ‘some’ of his clothes, he lost all of them 😂
@@undrthecosh All good my end pal. If I'm ever searching through my archives and come across the footage I'll send it to you. Great show you lot have mind. 👍
Proppa belly laughs watching this 1, probably one of the best episodes to date, well done fellas 👏
Great episode one of the best. Grew up watching Alan Brown for Sunderland. Remember him being lightening fast. He’s a typical north east lad with a great sense of humour.
Best one yet, what a top guy!
What an absolutely lovely fella Alan is. I *just* remember his time at Sunderland, and it saddens me the way he was treated - especially by Cowie.
Cowrie was a Tory he hated lad like Brown. People who worked in his Newcastle showroom did not like him.
What a lovely lovely dad and friend to have. Really enjoyed that. Merry Christmas lads
Honestly think that is one of the best I've seen ! What a funny fella 👍⭐
Its great to see Alan brown he's part of my childhood. He looks great, and was like a greyhound
The very best one I have watched. I am good friends with his son Anth and when I watched this I said what a mint feller your dad is. Well done lads.
Loved it. Tells his stories with so much enthusiasm. Laughed a lot at this one. Brilliant 😂
Amazing stuff - brilliant memories and what a lovely bloke! Merry Christmas to you all lads,
Brilliant episode. I vaguely remember him playing. Ian McFarlane was manager at Carlisle when Stan Bowles was there from memory. I was a kid !!
One of my favourite episodes, brilliant
11 minutes in.... Crying 😂😂😂😂 Alan mate what a fella ❤
Brilliant episode 👍
Brilliant episode lads. Crying with laughter at times.
Definitely in my top 3 guests
Terry Phelan or John Scales would be great aswell. The quiet members of the crazy gang
That is right up there lads with the very best you have done,Merry Christmas And a Happy New Year to you all 🧑🎄👍👏❤️💥
Brilliant episode.. funny man.. like my father.. funny men.
Thanks for this. Asked for this a while ago.🎉
I watched Pussy Talk by accident when I was about 11 when I started getting into obscure older films, this is a throwback I wasn’t expecting
Absolutely brilliant 👍 merry Christmas lads
One of the best episodes, brilliant stuff lads, keep up the good work.
Great podcast Alan - funny as - I was only born in 78 but remember watching videos of your goals. Me dad said you were better known as Alan ‘Open The Gates’ Brown. The one vs Wrexham was one of my all time favourite goals - not just the goal and its importance but the fact we packed out the racecourse (before hollywood) and the surges of the fans going nuts!
Absolutely superb lads...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂😂😂 Merry Christmas to u all...🎅🎄🎁🍺🍺🍺🍺
Class podcast...made my work go 2hours faster today cheers lads ❤
Absolutely brilliant, funniest one so far , what an brilliant dry humoured bloke Mr Brown Snr is, Merry Christmas.

Great podcast Alan, Lovely to see all four genuinely laughing there heads off.
Im an NUFC fan and really enjoyed this episode. I remember when we signed Alan on loan and he was brilliant up front with Mark McGhee; really disappointed when he didn’t sign permanently
Quality episode. Bomber is hilarious, the Durham accent is quality
Honestly watching that again was class top pod
What great episode lads, i never stopped laughing , i remember Browny well when signed and playing for Donny Rovers i thought at the time what a signing and was Billy Bremners best signing.

Proper local pit lad. Great episode
Does anyone know what happened to the David Thompson episode? He tells a story about Neil Ruddock but i can't find it anywhere
Brownies Dad has a great laugh 😂
Didn't realise that was Brownys dad. I worked with Alan at Durham nick for years. Great lad.
I heard he hurt himself at work and had to retire.
What a character this fella is la.

I moved from hebburn to Shrewsbury 20 years ago a it is a beautiful town never regretted it for 1 minute
Don't forget: One night in Hebburn, one night in Hebburn 🎵tune: One night in heaven by M People🎵
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Top 5 episode
He’s a legend
Gents I think Darcy Blake’s story would be a brilliant story to hear from the man himself. Parky must be able to get him on. Playing premier league football, a starter for Wales and did a great job at man marking Rooney against England only to be retired from football at age 26 and ended up playing second team rugby for Tredegar and working on a building site. 90 appearances for Cardiff, 14 caps for Wales. Not kicked a ball professionally since 2014 and is now only 35.
Chris Balderstone played for Carlisle and Leicestershire at the same time including when they were in the old first division. Jim Cumbes was Villa goalie and played fir Worcestershire too .
Can't see any prem players doing it now 😂
Fantastic. Such a shame you're career was cut short and how you were treated at Sunderland.
When's the next one out ?
What happened to the David Thompson episode???
Wow Browny - you are sensible compared to your old fella 😉❤️
Get the best physio duo ever on - Me an LMAC
Definitely in keeping ❤️
@@neilfitzhenry180 what an episode that would be! Hope you’re well Fitzy boy ❤️
Can we have a vlog from the channel for the Derby - need to see the face on Browny
Curvature of the spine 😂😂 absolutely brilliant episode. Love it Bomber terrific script shame Baldy kept leading you astray 😉
Please get him on again i'm crying with laughter here ....
Chaps are you aware that the PL this weekend is only 9 games as Man City are at club World Cup, so 30+ goals is tough.
I’m seeing double with the Brown Bugle 👃👃
Alright lads- I watched Alan Brown at Roker Park- also Ive watched most of ur podcasts- what strikes me is there was a lot of really vindictive downright nasty people in football back then- as in bitter coaches and managers treatign footballers like scum at times- marry xmas.
Tommy Caton played for Man City & Arsenal RIP BIG MAN 🙏😞
'....talked!'
why put repeats on when you can get them on the site? are we still paying and not getting anything?
It's a special Christmas treat for non patreons, as a way to attract those who aren't patreons to maybe sign up
@user-if4sc3uy3q How apt that your username is green with a capital G for the GRINCH! Hahahahahaha.

“Top whack” £2.50😂
Remember Tommy Caton sad to hear what happened to him.
We used to joke that Alan Brown raced whippets……..& beat them
Met him wnen his mate Stu Robinsons mam ran Hebburn colliery club he was a kid then but looking good
