Special dogs searching for koalas in Australia bushfires

- It's estimated more than a billion animals have been lost in Australia's bushfires. That includes a large number of koalas, which were listed as vulnerable to extinction even before the fires. Jamie Yuccas shows how specially-trained dogs are being used to help save the iconic animals.

Once the animals are rescued they should never be re released if only they would not ever be re released. Its getting to dangerous to re released them. And really all the beautiful animals should never be released again. There are many animals that could go extinct and the kaola is on top of the list of becoming extinct. Sad to know that this could happen

I hope that the people of Australia and the government are finally beginning to understand that they urgently need to stop exploiting coal mines and using fossil fuels. You urgently need to switch to renewable energy such as solar panels and heat pumps. The climate is changing and with those bush-fires this is accelerated. Hopefully this fire was an eye opener.
