    Love your busbar solution, ingenious :)

      Thanks mate. it was a temp solution that ended up staying 😁

    Great! Fun... You should test each and see if you have failing. Lead acid and sorts would not hold up as well.

      Thanks mate. I enjoy testing Batteries and I am very impressed with these solarking batteries so far. And yes it would be interesting to see how the other 3 are faring, I may have to put them to the test soon 😁

    Angle bus bars are impressive that's a properly built set up that will be my future at some point.... I've solved 90% of the issue's I'm having with my solar set up I'll have to upgrade the panel are 600 and 400 watt panels legit or a myth and which one do you recommend would you have a link to which brand you recommend cheers bro hope you're well 👊

      Thanks mate. The Buss bars work a treat 🤙🏻 I do know some residential solar panels can be up to 440watt or maybe more. I have Trinasolar 250w second hand house panels that I picked up for $10 each around 5 years ago. They are still working fine. Just make sure if you do get residential panels make sure that the panel voltage and watts total is lower than your charge controllers max input voltage and watts. Keep an eye out on market place/ Gumtree for some cheap second hand panels

    I think you are not loosing any capacity because you are not over working them. each battery does 1/4 the work. Its about the C rating of charge and discharge and temps of battery area also.

      Hi mate. Yeah I agree. I would have thought the hot Aussie summers would have taking a bit of juice out of them also. I’m more than happy with the results though. I could of gotten away with two solarkings batteries instead of 4 😁

    • @dc1544
      @dc1544 Před měsícem +1

      @@Techboxreview Heat really doesn't affect them till you get over 60 Celsius the way you are using them. You did right getting 4 of them so the C rating will always stay low. Also now you know you can expand and then use more power out of them.

      @dc1544 that’s good to know mate. I might do another test on them in a year or two and see how they are holding up

    thats why using multiple battery is better, specially if you only used up about 50-60% of the charge. i have a dual battery setup before and in 3 years the battery is still at full capacity cos i only used up about 30-40% and it'll be full charge again once the sun goes up.i never go down to 80% cos it'll definitely lower the life of the battery.

    • @Techboxreview
      @Techboxreview  Před měsícem +1

      True that mate. I worked out that my batteries only draw down to around 80% so that makes sense 😁

      @@Techboxreview i went looking for that battery but damn, those are actually expensive. 😁 but base on your review, those batteries are going to last long. so many battery on the market that it's not well made, and most of their decriptions are exagerated they even add 10 year warranty but customer service doesn't reply at all once you call them 😁

    you havent wasted your money in that case, i look forward to the new and cheaper batteries that hold far more power like india etc are producing , but for now ive been looking at aussie made lifepo4 batteries on the Aussie Batteries website, supposedly high quality, bit pricey but im tempted to buy a small amount because i plan to be off grid and im kinda worried about battery issues and warranties.

    • @Techboxreview
      @Techboxreview  Před měsícem

      Thanks mate. If they preform just as well over the next 4 years I will be more than happy. These solarking batteries are from an Australian company (should have mentioned in the vid) so warranty should be good hopfully. I have been keeping an eye on those sodium ion battery’s, they seem promising.

    • @Techboxreview
      @Techboxreview  Před měsícem +1

      I will test the other 3 solarking batteries one day. Hopefully the others are just as good as this one. 😁

      The proof is in the pudding. Obviously works for you and doesn't appear to have had any negative effect on battery life. I didn't note an corrosion around the terminals. Learnt something new today- always an alternative solution. I tip my hat to you.

      @TheRenoir thanks mate. Yeah it works fine for my situation. They actually make a good buss bar. Lots of pre made holes to bolt cables and accesses 😜👍 thanks for watching
