John B. Alexander Outdoor Performance Ensemble - Donna Music Festival 2017 FINALS

Finals performance by the John B. Alexander Outdoor Performance Ensemble at the 2017 Music on the Reservation Marching Contest held in Donna, Texas on October 14th at 10:15 PM.
The field production is entitled "Ascension to Paradise". Music is arranged by Daniel Montoya, Jr.
The Ensemble is lead on the field by Drum Majors Meaghan Rodriguez and David Izquierdo. Color Guard Captains are Naomi Alvarado and Amanda Babiak.
Directors are Joshua A. Martinez, Jacob Thompson, Diana Gonzalez, Ricardo Fuentes, and Abraham Armendariz.
The group earned 2nd place overall, 1st in Color Guard and 1st in Percussion.

The arrangement was brilliant and the show was so much fun to watch. I loved all the "bird" themed pieces. Firebird and Swan Lake were my favorite pieces to play when I was in high school so it was fun to hear them in an arrangement. I can't wait to see what is coming for next year. Awesome Job..
