Jian is an excellent guide
The absolute best right?! I told him to open up his own youtube channel. He knows SO much about his country, his culture and definitely his food🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I love how your kids are not hesitant in trying street foods.
Aww thank you! I liked how Jian our tour guide told them to try at least everything at least once☺️That was very encouraging. Kids really liked chicken isaw🤪
My cousin’s now husband an American tried isaw for the first time he loved it and ate 3 more sticks before revealing to him what it was…he froze then said he’ll pretend he did not know about it and it’s just say it’s another part of the chicken 😂
Lol! That’s so funny. I can imagine his face😂That’s exactly what happened to Knox and Nia. They actually liked the chicken isaw so much until they found out what it was!🙈😜
@@MomDuty here’s the thing, HE ATE MORE 😂 along with the pork barbecue I had to run back to the stall which was only a 5 minute walk from our house to have 10 sticks of isaw, 10 stick of bbq pork and 3 sticks chicken wings(3 wings on a stick) grilled
Lol!!!!🙊Oh my gosh!!🤣😂😂I’m
Laughing so hard! That’s hilarious!!!!😂😂
Well, it's literally just another part of a chicken
that boy is very eloquent. I could say he's really born to be a youtuber or some sort.
Awww thank you Joshua🥹Knox loves food! He could eat and talk about food all day🤪
I watched your 3 vlogs this Thanksgiving day and without skipping ads cuz you deserve it. Very cheerful and smart kids. The tour guide knows whats hes doing. He explains good.
Oh my goodness! What a HUGE complaint! Wow! You made my entire year🥹Speaking of Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for people like you who just show great support and just so positive!🙏THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️❤️
Been watching you since yesterday. N somehow kinda jealous 😢 as a kid i never experienced such an adventure u guys have as a family.
Keep creating amazing videos 👏 always be humble and thankful. ❤️
Aww thank you so much for watching our videos!🙏 Appreciate you taking the time. Hopefully you’re making your own adventures now. Maybe I can just pack you in my suitcase and take you along with us🤪🧳🌎I keep reminding my lil munchkins how blessed they are to see the world at such a young age. They live a very unique lifestyle that’s for sure.
@@MomDuty Thank you. Actually my sister and I went to Singapore last month, to visit our mother. 6-7 years that we haven’t seen her. Life is short but thats what it takes to keep us alive. I’ll make her come home ‘till we’re financially stable. GodBless!! 👼
I love the energy and the content! Keep making great vlogs! Love you guys!
We will! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch! You’re awesome!

Thanks SO much!!!! Gotta love the Philippines🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Great explanation here... Nice job.
❤❤❤
Cute kids reactions🥰🥰🥰
Aww thanks! Love my babies🥹They genuinely had a great time trying the street food in Manila🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Your son is so brave to try out new things.
Right?! I was happy that he was willing to try them all even though he didn’t know what they were😛👍🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
@@MomDuty he'll go places for sure. Anyway, safe travels, guys.
Aww thank you for saying that🙏🥹Super nice of you to say.
I have learned so much about street food because the the food master explained it so well. I am salivating while watching this video.
Haha. It was so much learning and trying it all. Knox ate it all up🤤
Loved it and subscribed! Kuya Jian is the best, hopefully we’ll get a chance to meet up with you all while you are here in BGC!!
Hi fam!👋 Wow!! Great to hear from you!! And so nice to meet you all. Haha…yes Jian is such a great guy. Super nice. Knox and Nia really like him too. Would love to meet! I hear we have a lot in common🫶
I wish kuya will be a tourist guide for all Philippines tourist he is so amazing
Yes!!! I think so too! We all love him! He’s so knowledgeable and just super duper nice! Love him🥰🇵🇭
This food vlog is really nice, you've tasted almost all the street foods here, love the reaction of the 2 kids, so cute. Watching another vlog again without skipping ads .. Stay safe.
Thank you so so so so much Rowena!!!! You just made our day! Appreciate all the nice comments. Knox and Nia had fun walking the streets, meeting the locals and eating😝🤪
The kids are so cute I can't help but to subscribe right away. It's so funny they look so traumatized watching the guy eat balut.
Thank you so much much! You’re so nice! Hope you enjoyed a lil bit about us and our travels, especially here in the Philippines. We love it here and keep extending our stay🤣😂🇵🇭🇵🇭
My daughter love eating gizard n she love adobo n sinigang so much she wish she can visit again sa pinas
Haha. That’s amazing!!! She’s got great taste🤪Filipino food is here is like having a home cooked meal every day. It’s sooooo good. Come back and visit!🇵🇭Where are you from?
*_these two kids are adorable. but the little boy really catches my attention..._* *good job everyone!! mabuhay....*
Aww thank you!🙏🇵🇭Haha…my lil man Knox. I just read him your comment and he said ‘thank you.’☺️☺️☺️☺️
Now I know why the part two took so long ... It's for the sound effects ... I'm smiling so all the wait was worth it 😂
The little ones are so lucky to have you guys as parents .. I think I'm crying 😭 or it's just something on my 👀
I support the little ones on not eating balut... And couldn't actually see dad eat it because I had something in my eyes 😂
Last but not least as the planets are moving deeper into Scorpio I become more of a mess 🌞🙃 so if you find yourself crying and try to blame it on something or someone .. please be patient as transits move and the tears will run away ♥️
Yup! Nelvine has been editing non-stop. His sound effects were on point, right?!👌🤣Awww you’re so awesome Ethan! I feel like you’re our brother cheering us on. Thank you so much for watching and being supportive🥹It’s funny because when we lived in the states the kids were such picky eaters. Now after traveling the world for almost 4 years full-time, they’re now trying pig ears🙈🤣😂My lil babies. Haha….your eyes were tearing cuz you have ‘allergies’🤧😝😜🤪
best food tourguide
Jian is awesome! Such a great human being. Very knowledgeable AND sooooooo nice!
❤️❤️❤️
I'm born and raised in the Philippines but I don't eat balut so I understand how you guys felt lol.
Ahhh🙈Thank you for understanding. Hope we didn’t come off impolite in any way for not trying it all🙈🇵🇭🥹🫶🫶🫶🫶We’re you or your family raised eating it? Like a snack? Because from what my husband told me, it’s a very common snack here.
@@MomDuty not at all. Even for locals, prudence dictates we source it in reliable sources like specialty diners and poultry stores. The difference in Balut lies in the cooking, so some fly by night or enterprising vendors may have (unintentionally) sourced it somewhere it wasn't well boiled that Balut looks and tastes really raw (as i've seen some CZcamsrs).
Me too I have never tried balut and I wont eat it.
The boy is brave enough to try the soup. Most Pinoy kids won't even try it especially those who are rich.
@MomDuty it's because only poor people eat it, like most rich people your taste buds are not suited for Balut.
Kudos to the kids for trying it out, even some Filipinos do not chicken gizzard and other parts but to me it was my only way to survive hunger during my poverty stage.
Oh thank you! Knox and Nia are usually up to try most things since we travel full time. We see lots of different delicacies in each country that we visit. But Philippines has some gooooood food👌🤤
Great videos good job nakakagutom
Haha. Thank you Rodel!! Nice to meet you! Wish I could send you some of the dumplings 🥟🤤
Kids were so funny after hearing where the food came from😂 , but I like that they tried at least , love you guys ❤
Your kids are lovely they try everything and not complaining 🥰
So nice of you to notice that. Wow! Thank you so much for the positive comment about my babies☺️
This makes me hungry! Bravo kids!
Haha🤣🤣Lots of good food here in the Philippines🇵🇭
There are 2 types of Balut: white Balut and black Balut. White Balut is easy to eat because the embryo is covered with white coating and the duck is not yet formed and visible, bec it is still in fetus form.
What?! I had no idea that there are 2 types of balut😲Oh my gosh….gonna tell the fam. Thank you for the info👌
So handsome these kiddo, he's also adorable. 🥰
Awww thank you so much!🙈Will make sure to tell them you said that🥰
Love to see guys..
Aww thank you so much!!! You’re so kind to say that🥹Hope you enjoy our lil vlogs🙏Are you in Manila?
i love watching this videos so entertaining and educational as well... i love the kids they're so cute....suggestions: try some island tour here in visayas and mindanao..... good job guys!
So glad you’re enjoying our vlogs!!! Makes me sooooo happy to hear!!! We definitely want to go island hopping. But we keep extending our BGC stay🙈🤪Having too much fun here.lol. Thanks so much for the suggestion though. Gonna look up Visayas and Mindanao 🏝

hi...a new subscriber from manila...ilove ur videos
Hi Tomas! 👋 Salamat!🇵🇭Thank you so much for being here my friend. We appreciate you!
Such an exciting street food experience.
We had so much fun! Especially the kids🥰🤭
From Canada. Did the same thing to my children. Try different stuff. My eldest LOVE Balut. The youngest LOVE Penoy
Hello Canada!👋🇨🇦 That is so great to hear that. Good for them for trying new foods👌
@@MomDuty I like knowing my children having an open mind on different food eaten by other culture. Even their friends I exposed them to these foods. Love or hate, you know you tried. When you meet others and are offered something different. You can honestly say "Sorry. Tried that and not really keen on the texture or something."
Enjoy and Stay safe.
Liked it 💕💕💕💕
You are SOOOO NICE! Thank you for taking the time!!!💝💝💝💝

He’s amazing and such a nice person. My kids love him. Jian is so knowledgeable and passionate about his country!
Yup! We told him he should open up his own youtube channel He’s so comfortable being around the camera, he speaks so well too and just knows soooo much.
Your family reminds me of "livin la vida tagalog" they're also in the Philippines. They have two kids and the father is filipino and the mother is Mexican. It's also fun to watch them. I think they live in BGC. that's her youtube channel "livin la vida tagalog."

The best Balunbalunan can be had at JT's Inasal. The resto owned by actor Joel Torre. Their Grilled Gizzards are tender with the right chew. I order 6sticks in one sitting.
Thanks so much for the recommendation! We love trying all the restaurants you all tell us to visit. I’ll see how far it is from BGC.

Pinapaitan is Anthony Bourdain's favorite ❤️
Oh that’s good to know. What’s the usual meat used inside the soup?
@@MomDuty Papaitan is traditionally made with chevon. But beef is also very much acceptable. ♥
Oh got it. I ask because many people have been teaching us the different ways dishes can be made here. It’s very interesting to try them all out. Especially for my husband.

our streetfood hotdog is mushy coz it the cheapest!! its not good but its okay (hindi masarap pero laman tyan din sya)... hahaha

That is so delicious why to scare😍👌😂
It doesn’t taste bad at all🤤Just doesn’t look enticing🤪🙈sorry🙈🇵🇭
If Mom is Latina, Pichi Pichi is Manioc in Central and South America.
I tried Pichi Pichi on our street food tour in Mandaluyong. We stopped by Don Benito’s and ordered a whole box!lol I had no idea how good cheese would taste on this delicious dessert. Sooooo good!🤤I LOVED IT!👌👌👌👌
I couldn’t eat those Isaw Isaw myself !
Haha. Really?! So funny. Kids surprisingly liked isaw🤭
I thought he said nipple. Hahah its meatball!!!
Lol!!! Oh yeah🤦♀️😆I can see that🤣
Dear kids, utilizing and eating the whole animal is intelligent (a.k.a sustainable), delicious (offal are the tastiest parts), and most of all respectful to the animal that offered its life for our sustenance. So... There's nothing to be cringey or iffy about whenever you eat these food items. REMEMBER THAT.

21 days for egg to hatch hahaha.... I love eating 20 to 21 days... But now a days only 14, 16 to 18 days...
Ok so you’ve tried balut before?
I doubt that usually it takes 24-31. But i agree with you on the second part, the 21 days actually tastes much better. But you gotta start off somewhere I started off eating only the yolk and giving my parents the duck part to now eating 3-5 eggs in one sitting 🤙🏻😂
Ahhh ok👍That’s what our tour guide said. Start off with just the soup, then the yolk and lastly the duck. My husband said when he was little he would eat them as snacks all the time in Pampanga.lol. Are you from Manila?🇵🇭
♥️♥️♥️😭

a lottle bit trivia for something a Filipino especially the foreigner might confused, The Big Balls which is the Duck Egg is what Filipino called KWEK-KWEK and the small balls which is the quail egg what you called a TOKNENENG
Oooooh so we have it wrong🙈We thought kwek kwek were quail eggs🙈
@@MomDuty yes TOKNENENG os Quail eggs and KWEK-KWEK is Duck egg hehehe
I'm quite concerned about the way they keep moving around while holding the sticks tho.
They really enjoyed trying Manila street food🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
@@MomDuty And they wouldn't enjoy having their throats or eyes impaled with those sticks. Just saying
Balut is healthier and cleaner than fried Chicken Nuggets and Burger. I kid you not.
No way😲Well now that you mention it, it’s not fried or greasy🤷♀️
One recommendation is to pronounce SISIG as see-seeg not seeg-seeg.
Thank you my friend! I’m so embarrassed. I said it wrong in the last 2 vlogs but I have definitely corrected myself🙈I appreciate you helping me learn☺️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
husband speaking age 80 2 Oct 23 745 pm I think this is my 4th Mon Duty tonight. I got through 19 min. of this great
video and quit. The food ( for me was terrible ) and no way on earth I would eat any of it. I give the kids 3 " A's " for even
taking a bite. When I first went to the PH with my new wife, we were invited out to many family's homes for a meal. 'Flida said
I should eat what ever is there, I say NO, it has to stay down. It may be only in the mind but my mind is not used to anything inside
any animal. That stuff should be buried. If I don't know what it is, I will not, eat it. In our early years of marriage, mom would try
to sneak something on me. One time a piece of steak ??, I look at it, cut a piece, ( it cut like butter ) I take a small bite, mom is just
looking at me. I know something is not right. I said what is it, " COW TONGUE " that was it, no more. For our Native American
Indians, after a buffalo hunt, eating raw cow tongue was a real treat. This video was really good, it is the food I can't stomach,
no pun intended. Next video please
Thank you so much for watching another one of our videos! You are too kind! I think you have to be very adventurous to try street food anywhere in the world.lol. We’ve been learning to try anything and everything as we’ve been traveling the world for 4 years now. So I was very proud of the kids for trying the street food too😜I like your rule “If you don’t know what it is, you’re not going to eat it.”👍
When i was a child i also dont like isaw -isaw ears pig etc. cause looks disgusting . But when i am grew older i really love those
But i still dont like balut 😹
Haha. It’s funny how we all start like that. Not liking something but then as we get older we enjoy eating it☺️🤪

Haha. I just looked him up and he does!🤪😲
Jst a friendly reminder to any vlogger feat. Flips streetfood, Dont force oneself to eat jst for the sake of creating content. Gnawing it but with faces as wanting to puke really offending. Fact is those street foods proven edible for so long time already.
Completely understandable. Thank you for the friendly reminder. We want to be honest when trying new foods but definitely not rude.
Have Boodle fight with the ABC family
Omg you read our mind! We were supposed to go last time but it was raining too hard and the noodle fight restaurant was outside.
You said it is delicous but you didn't finish your balut.. 🤤
Did you see how many places we ate before the balut?🤣We ate at 7 different places and the balut lady was at the end🙈 we didn’t even include the dessert part at Pan de Manila🤣🤣
Be careful of making balut eating a challenge . Some people get an indigestion after eating it. Also the isaw .. and other street foods.. what might have been a prank may end you in the hospital..
Thanks for caring. Sweet of you🥹
Should have tried Dinuguan and Puto not Sisig...
Is that your fav dish?
Actually, I prefer puto with other savory dishes than dinuguan, but don't take me wrong, Dinuguan is one of my favorite dishes specially if its cooked by my mother.
It's just that Filipinos are just used to this combo and some have never tried it but they just know it is a good combo coz the idea is already stapled on Filipinos mind. But in truth, each of us has our own preferences. We just need to explore and go beyond what we are used to. You'll never know, you may end up finding your new favorite combos, specially if you know the components, it is easy to find which goes well to each dishes.
