    I actually think $200 is a very reasonable price for what it is. I think it just comes down to whether you actually want a 24 inch Giant-Man in your display or not, because if you straight up don’t want an item or character, it doesn’t matter how good the value is, you’re not going to buy it. I’m personally hyped and backed it immediately, but Giant-Man clearly doesn’t have the same universal appeal as the Sentinel or Galactus

    Really surprised this wasn’t an instant fund. Aside from the lack of figures this seems like a perfect package

      Tbh, I'm a little worried it won't hit 14000. I'm a cheap bastard and even I think 200 is a good price for this figure, with all the tiers. Without that Skrull head though, I'd rather this be 180.
      Crazy thing is, the people who scoff at the 200 price would probably pay 300 if this came with 3 6 inch figures.... instead of paying 200 now and 75 later when they are released separately.

    This is my first time to back a Haslab, and I’m pretty pumped about it!

    I'm thinking of getting 2 also, hopefully they make a 1/12 version later

    I backed 2 of these instantly. If Hasbro could deliver this value to quality ratio on all their products I’d buy everything that made.

    My thing is people who aren't complaining. That there's no figures coming with it. My thing is that most likely. Is that were probably going to get a wave. Of Ant-man theme figures. In a way probably going to get Hank Pym. A classic wasp probably a modern one too. Maybe an modern Scott lang Ant-Man. To go along with the has lab. So I can't wait to see that happen.

      We just got an Egghead too, and Egghead was Ant-Man/Giant-Man’s archenemy during the Silver Age. I think Hasbro is going to reveal an Ant-Man centric wave at Pulse Con with some in-demand figures like Silver Age Wasp and Yellowjacket in order to entice potential backers while the campaign is still active

    I just wish they could have squeezed in a rare Janet kitschy fig in that price. I think they could have at 14k and made the plates 12k.

    My assumption is the team was more concerned about getting the price right then an exciting haslab which for me it is not . Safe bet it probably will fund but I doubt the tiers will .

    Great figure , but shouldn’t be a haslab crowd funded. They could of easily made it a pulse exclusive.

    Tiers shouldn't be built into a price.
    Tiers are supposed to be bonuses.

      Exactly

    • @WiGgYof09
      @WiGgYof09 Před 10 měsíci +2

      No... that is the how it works.
      If this only sells 10000 units, the cost per figure would be roughly the same to Hasbro as if they were to sell 14000 units with all the tiers. That is just how it works. The cost of lroduction, shipping, tooling, etc. All of that has to be covered by the price. There is no such with as a "free" tier or a "bonus".
      This is how it is for anything mass produced. The factory reduces the cost per unit if the volume goes up. If you buy a pack of 100 q-tips you pay more per q-tip than you would getting the 1000 pack. That doesn't mean there are "bonus" q-tips. It just means the savings on production get passed to the consumer. Same concept.

      @@WiGgYof09 becuase you work for hasbro and you know exactly what their bottom line is......

    • @WiGgYof09
      @WiGgYof09 Před 10 měsíci +2

      @@tilmonr no, because that is just how production of anything works.
      For example: If hasbro wants a 30% return and a product costs 140 to make, they need to sell it at 200. If it costs 140 per unit to make 10000, that sets the backer goal. If the factory will give hasbro a 10% discount for making 4000 more units, Hasbro can I use the Skrull head and still keep a 30% return. This is basic business and this is how it is for any company looking to make a profit.
      These are not your friends doing you a favor by throwing in a figure. It's all cost based. Hasbronisnt going to take a hit to their bottom line for a "bonus" tier.

    $199 it's not a lower price tag. It is not egregious but lower is not.
