- We think it's a pretty safe bet to assume the next HasLab will be Giant Man but what could the unlocks be and how much is this going to cost us fans? Dakota really wants him scaled down from Galactus and at the ever elusive "reasonable price".
For the next Haslab I would love to see a Mole Man and Giganto with classic Fantastic Four as tiers.
I feel like a lot of people forget about that, me included, but that would be awesome to go with the classic comic cover.

Next haslab should be a giant globe of battleworld, showing all the different names/continents of the different multiverses cities/locations etc. I think that’d be pretty sweet!

Avengers Mansion playset with Jarvis as a bonus tier. JK if a car was $350 can you imagine what they'd charge for it? "It's got a fron door, a couple rooms, more doors, and a floor."
That would be a cool dio but it would have to be pretty large to fit a team in there.
I would love a Spider-Verse inspired Haslab, like a giant, modular Spider HQ diorama that can be filled with all the different Spider-People from the multiverse. Especially with how many facets of Spider-Man Marvel Legends (Comics, Movies, Retro Cartoons, Spider-Verse) is tackling, it would be cool to build a large display diorama to bring all the different sides together.
It would be really cool to see if Hasbro can break into a dio based HasLab.
I would still love to get a Quinjet and a Blackbird, but my guess for the next Haslab is probably a Fin Fang Foom. As long as we see the value in the main offering, any tiers are bonuses. That's how I felt about Galactus. I was sold on him, with or without the tiers.
I agree. The EOV felt much more like they really needed to show the extra tiers to see if it was worth it and even then it wasn't.

Giant man should come with 3 interchangeable heads. One classic. One unmasked, and one modern that lights up. Also classic Wasp should either be included with the base offerings or a bonus tier. Putting an updated Yellow Jacket behind a Haslab paywall is going to piss off a lot of collectors.
I agree wasp should be part of the base offer. I think I would rather see more figures than alternate heads though.
@thestrongcollectors Just seems like most figures they could include we already have or could easily have released in the mainline when it comes to Giant Man. Goliath could also be an option, but again, it would be a slipper slope putting that figure behind a Haslab paywall when Hasbro hasn't released a decent one yet.
@@aaroneaston8899 That's where I'd almost rather it be a classic Avengers box set so that some of those other figures are normal releases.
It is a pretty safe bet to guess the next ML Haslab will be Giant-Man. How are they going to get away with selling an 18 inch action figure between $275-$300? Unlike say the Sentinel or Galactus whose uniform's provided complexities to their design, there is no such thing with a Giant-Man. If Hasbro was to offer a $200 GM, I would be interested. But the tiers better be Jarvis, the Wasp and Yellowjacket.
I'm very interested to see what happens with the roll out. The price is going to be the biggest factor for probably everyone. I almost hope Yellowjacket isn't part of it so that if it fails we can still get him.
To me, Giant Man could be based on the Super-Adaptoid, same size. Waste of a Haslab. I'd much rather see a Haslab with a Galactus-sized Eternity with Baron Mordo, classic Ancient One and Nightmare. Or a near-Galactus sized Ultimo with a classic Mandarin and perhaps some other classic Iron Man foes thrown in. Swordsman and Power Man maybe?
This is a Haslab that could be so tempting or such an easy pass depending on what the scale, price, and tiers are. I think a really cool idea for the next Haslab would be a Daily Bugle/rooftop diorama of some kind to make for a definitive way to display the Spider-Man figures that are always going to be the most popular. I might be in the minority but if they made a diorama with space for all my Spider-related figures AND tiers that were more sought-after Spider characters I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
You're not alone there. I think a lot of people are wanting that type of dio as a HasLab.
I think a good next haslab would be the celestial eson, then maybe pack it up with some guardians of the Galaxy from the 2008 comic series, would be pretty cool in my opinion. Then the giant man haslab in my opinion is great if it happens they could definitely pack him up with the gold armor iron man with that iron man body they used for 60th anniversary, then wasp because you know you cant have giant man without wasp, then for the last one of the three would either be hulk or thor.
I hope we can get a small articulated wasp even if it's like the ToyBiz on that came with Goliath.

You mention more Avengers themed tiers and it got me thinking, remember how back at SDCC their Avengers display had all kinds of Avengers characters, including a classic, first appearance Ms. Marvel yet we didn't hear no news or rumblings about a potential figure of her so maybe she's gonna be a tier for Giant Man. It would make sense since her costume is on the more lewd side (kind of), I mean her original outfit just looks like she left home and forgot her pants. It's possible!
Oh maybe. I feel like a lot of people would be upset that she was a TRU exclusive and now she becomes a HasLab exclusive. Totally possible but I hope she gets a single release.
I'd personally love to see the next has lab project be a fin fang foom or possibly even a sand man I'd say those would be fun options to go with.
A bigger sand monster Sandman would be really cool. Give him a bunch of interchangeable parts

Only other Avengers related haslab that I can think of would be avengers tower dio. Skyscraper exterior with figure display areas and the other side could be interior labs and R and D areas. One of the tiers could be a twelve inch giant man. Personally the only marvel haslab I'd be interested in would be a Punisher van. A nod to the toybiz one while still being somewhat realistic. Lots of hidden mounted guns and turrets. A small command center in back with some tech and some weapons racks/cages. Have weapons packs as tiers, similar to Valaverse ones. And of course release it with the best looking all pinless Frank we've seen and I'd be a buyer.
We really do need a pinless Punisher with butterfly joints
2024 HasLab should be Dr Strange with Shuma Gorath with tiers of an updated comic astral strange, an updated 7” Dormammu, a comic Wong, comic Mordo
As for this years, I think you guys were spot on with Giant Man/Avengers. It’s on theme with everything else they have released this fall. I think Giant Man will end up being 16-18” and I could see them doing the figure and most of the figs for $275 and then tiers of yellow jacket, hank in lab coat, etc.
That would be the perfect size for me. And I would really love a comic Mordo.
Something that I don't see anybody talking about with this "proposed Giant Man" Haslab idea: a Giant Man mold should be far more universal and useful for other characters than to be locked behind a Haslab.
I really hope Giant Man isn't the Haslab. I really wish Legends would use Giant Man to kickoff a new scale of giant characters that can be sold at retail. Make them like $120-$140 and 18" tall, and I think people would bite for that. They could tweak the mold and reuse it for characters like Goliath (both Pym and Foster), Yellow Jacket, Atlas, Living Tribunal, Frost Giants/Ymir, Onslaught, Awesome Andy, Ultimo, etc.
But if they waste Giant Man on a Haslab, then we're likely not going to see any of these other characters and that majorly sucks. You telling me they couldn't put a $120 Frost Giant on shelves but they're selling $200 Transformers of the Ark or the Nemesis? Legends should totally get a titan-class scale and SKU, and I wish they would.
However, if it turns out that Giant Man is the Haslab, then I hope they do it in the way that you guys are talking about. That'd probably be the best way. After this, Legends should be done with Haslab. I don't think there is any vehicle, diorama, or large character this is popular and feasible enough to do a Haslab for.
Vehicles like X Jet or Quinjet are too large. They wouldn't touch Punisher van, and Fantasiticar wouldn't have enough fans. I don't think any 1 character is popular enough to do another large figure Haslab. The only thing I think could would be a dio, like Danger Room, Avengers Tower, or Daily Bugle. So the next project has to be a dio, in my opinion.
Well if they do it our way and make Giant Man a 12 inch figure and make it a cheaper HasLab compared to the last 2, there's no rule that says they couldn't do another 12 inch figure reusing some parts. The 12 inch super adaptoid got me really excited that we might see other figures that size but I am worried that it was a bad character choice to show how excited fans could actually be. People probably don't care a fraction as much about super adaptiod as they would if it was a 12 inch Frost Giant, Sentinel, or Giant Man type figure.
@@thestrongcollectors They *could* do that, but this is Hasbro and I wouldn't put it past them to screw it up.
I will be very shocked if this Haslab is less than $300. Which means Giant Man will either large enough to warrant that price, unless the Haslab is multiple large characters (like Pym, Goliath, and Yellowjacket) which might also be an option for them but I guess we'll see.
I just hope it's a good campaign that is worth the money
I feel like even if it is a good price if Giant Man is Galactus level big I'd have to pass. Even at $200 it just wouldn't make any since to even own it for me.
If they do make giant man, I'll be disappointed if a zombie head isn't a tier. Also, yeah, I don't want a giant man the same size as galactus. But if he's smaller, then I assume it would put off people with the likely high price. A 12-inch giant man wouldn't be worth a haslab price imo, but idk how else they'll make him if not galactus size to 'justify' the price
But that's what I'm saying with the different price structures. They don't have to be huge and they don't have to cost $400. Transformers has big stuff like Unicron but the newer Haslabs were at a lower price under $200. Why can't Legends do that?
Same reason they thought ghost rider was worth 350, I'd imagine. It's hard to really say how much giant man would be worth.
Given that the vehicle failed, I assume they'll stick to large characters. Idk who else besides giant man they could do for haslabs. Fing Fang Foom would be cool, sure, but you also wouldn't want him to be as big as galactus. Do you guys have any haslabs you'd want?
If feel like any future HasLab I would want would need to be smaller than Galactus. I'd love a 12-24 inch max Giant Man, then a Fin Fang Foom on a similar size maybe 24 in or a little less. I'd like to see a really cool team box set as a HasLab. Like maybe the original x-men with accessories. I can't really think of any vehicles I'd want to shell out the money for. Maybe a Black Bird but it would probably be too big.
I want more Haslab Ghostbusters pieces. Maybe a PKE Meter or Muon Trap. Slime Blower is probably too much to ask for...
It seemed like the first one did well so I could see them doing it again.
The next Haslab should be a set of characters(i.e. Mephisto, Goblin Queen, Hellstrom) that Hasbro wouldn’t release to regular retail. Some examples include(the above three), Starfox, Isaiah Bradley, Bug(from Micronauts. Heck, ALL the Micronauts, since they have the license now), Western Heros(ANY!), Baron Blood, Mandrill, Sabra, Destiny, Stick, etc. The idea is that controversial characters, or ones that fans would want, but they “can’t” (or won’t, out of fear of them not selling), is perfect for Haslab, because it’s going to collectors directly. Maybe 5-6 characters to start, and then 3-4 unlocks.
For the record, The western characters, Micronauts, etc., would make excellent on their own.
I feel like Starfox, Isaiah Bradley and Destiny will for sure come out at retail. Especially with Starfox being in the MCU.The others are cool ideas.

I bet that's going to be the most popular choice since people really like the old foom but also a lot of people don't have it. Hasbro could even charge a good amount and it still only be a little more than the original since it's going for like $300(?)
I remember the old Amazing spiderman arcade and in it was Spiderman and the Avengers and one of the bosses was GIANT VENOM. I think the new Haslab will be that Giant Venom from the arcade. I would also totally buy a Giant Venom

I was thinking what if they do something different, like they introduce the main tier, and alll the other tiers at once, but have them be avengers villains that haven’t been released in legends form
That would be cool. And they've done that style of tiers with G I Joes and Star Wars but that's a pretty confident strategy and I don't know how confident they'll be after last years attempt.

There's no electronics on Giant-Man, so that automatically should give wiggle room on the price. I definitely want Jarvis. I wouldn't mind getting a normal size Clint Barton Goliath, Bill Foster Giant-Man, and Rita DeMara Yellowjacket.
I feel like people are wanting a huge Clint Barton but really he could be the same size as Destoryer and that would be about perfect I think.
Just had to get a new phone! Rejoining all my old groups! Already have a 10 inch Giant Man, so it would have to be $100 or so or I can pass.

I think an interesting idea for the next haslab would be a Diorama focused haslab. One big dio with smaller ones as tiers; stuff like Avengers Mansion, Xavier’s School, The Baxter Building, or even something small as a tier like Peter Parker’s apartment. Just think it’s a neat concept. I do think your spot on with the giant man prediction for this upcoming haslab though!
I'd like to get an Xavier's School with a Danger Room as a dio even though x men aren't my most collected. That's a cool idea and would be a first for the HasLabs but I think Marvel Legends would be the ones to pull it off.
An Avengers HQ with Jarvis, Swordsman, Mantis and original Graviton would sell me 100%!
Here’s how I would do giant man
1 it comes with three heads to make three different figures.
Yellow jacket
Giant man
Goliath
Make the body black
And have clip on costumes
Clip on costumes would be interesting to see Hasbro try.
Next haslab should be spider-man into the multiverse or something where there are a ton of spider people with the big thing being spider-hulk and a acid top for all of the spider people to go in front of
Everyone would love to see an updated spider hulk. Hasbro would make a fortune on that one.
I'm hoping the next haslab is a collection of ultimate ketch Ghost Rider figures that comes with alt heads and accessories. Not everything needs to be a 32"figure.
100% give us some smaller cool stuff. if the point of a HasLab is to make something they don't think will sell well at retail, make some of the fan favorites the the general person may not care about. Doesn't always have to be a giant that takes up all the collection real-estate.
My guess is the advengers tower ooooweeee that’ll be awesomely satisfying a diorama

I would love if the next haslab would be a hall of armor for iron man with a bunch of his armors as tiers.
That would be cool for Hasbro to do. Put in some armors we haven't gotten yet with it.
I just collect DC characters so i dont really know whats missing from marvel... but doing a Jarvis is kinda interesting
Could probably be an easy Alfred custom.
I am a Wonder Man fan so if i can have my way, i will want a more muscular Wonder Man with all the updated articulations, with effects for his ion blast and punches and a ion power mode variant made of translucent plaster with the same articulations. And maybe if a genie grants my wish, include a red translucent colour ion mode power variant to tribute to the Wonder Man that have red ion power from the Avengers: United they stand animated series.
But that is just my personal wish.
For a more realistic guess,Giant man is likely going to be the case but Apocalypse with his 4 horsemen can be aa good choice too, with accessories that can give them their pre and post look.
I feel like there is still a few Wonder Mans they can make. We still haven't got him in the green suit yet either. My vote would be translucent one though like you said

the giant man haslab possibilities sounds interesting, having other avenger members makes the most sense as added tiers. price should be like 150? due to added figures and such. i think the next haslab should be something big, or something absurd like the spider buggy cause i think it’d be funny

I think it will be Giant Man, but I hope it is an elaborate playset/diorama with the Daily Bugle in the middle, the Tower of Doom on one end and the Avengers Training Center headquarters on the other. 😁
Hasbro has been putting out a bunch of pics of Avengers scenes in a dio. Maybe that's the big tease everyone is missing. the dio is actually the HasLab.

Imagine a haslab of kingpin from spider verse 🤣 he’s literally a brick but I could see him being taller than normal figures as he towers over normal sized characters in the movie.
That would be interesting to see. It could come with others from the movie like the new Vulture and Penny Parker with Spdr.

I'm a sucker for spiderman and his amazing friends so I'd love to see that playset where the room turns into HQ that would be cool, or anything animation related xmen. I wasnt collecting when they did Galactus and the sentinel 😢

If they did something like that or the Blackbird I hope they go for more of a forced prospective approach because it doesn't have to massive to be cool. If i could fit 3 figures in it, that's all I need. I don't want to display an entire team riding in a vehicle.

I have heard a lot of buzz for a celestial. And they've been showing up in comics more recently too.
I'm curious to see if there is incentive to buy more than one. I thought a good idea may be swap-able parts. Whether its body parts or maybe even add on armor parts to create ATLAS. I think being able to make multiple giant people is a smart idea to get people to purchase more than one.
Oh! Kind of like an army builder type. I think they really got a false sense of sales with Galactus. Sentinels were a true army builder and had a crazy aftermarket when Galactus was coming out but the Sentinel market quickly crashed and then Galactus wasn't worth what people expected after buying multiples.
I agree with alot of the others on here...a Danger Room or Avengers Tower would be great but has anyone said a Daily Bugle dio set? With all the Spidey releases recently like MCU, animated and comic based...it could be fun. A J. Jonah Jameson Office set too? LoL Could have alot of Easter egg jokes on the newspapers on the wall too.
I think one other person also mentioned the Daily Bugle. I would love some fun easter egg jokes on the walls.
@thestrongcollectors Back in the 90s, Toybiz teased a Ghost Rider playset with a cemetery, bike ramp, church and transforming action.
It was sadly never released and I still wish I had a cool creepy updated dio similar to that in theme to go with my spooky Marvel Legends, Mythic Legions and more.

I wonder if that would be popular enough to sell. I feel like people want eternity but if they make it as big as Galactus I don't think there would be enough people wanting to spend $450.
I think the size should be between 20" and 22", simply because the TB BAF was 16" and for this Haslab to stand out, it needs to tower over the original, while still not being as tall as the Sentinel.
p.s. I agree that Yellowjacket as a tier would be a dick move. Give us lab cost Hank instead, Wasp, Jarvis and a couple of alternate heads.
I think at 22" he's not going to display that well. I would like to be able to have him next to other members of the Avengers without it being such a big difference it looks like they don't go together.
@thestrongcollectors I mean, GM size does vary. I think in the comics, he can grow up to 60 feet, though he often does look like he functions around 20 to 25 feet.
I get the argument for displayability on the shelves, but will him only being 2" taller than the TB Baf, be enough for collectors to make the upgrade? I only say this because I'm one of those collectors and man, I think that TB figure still looks great and holds up really well. What say you? Would 18" be enough?

lol. For me yes 18 would be perfect. I figure with the current price of $150 for the TB version (which I think is a steal for how great the figure is) if hasbro made the exact same figure with updated articulation I'd spend $200 for that. If it comes with good tiers you could talk me into $250 just for the exact size of the TB. Make it 18 inches and I'm in for sure. Make it 20 and now I'm bringing out the tape measure checking my shelf space.

Given his simple costume design, $200 plus 3 reg size figures would be acceptable and if he's 18" that's not a deal breaker if I feel like it's a better figure with great accessories.
The anticipation is palpable, and I think we collectors are eager to find out since we didn't get a haslab last year.
Great time to be a ML collector, though, and I hope this is well worth the wait!

I think the next haslab shouldn’t be a huge figure, it should be a diorama of the daily bugle. The characters would be, obviously Spider-Man, jjj, black cat Gwen Stacy or mj , green goblin and doc ock. Then they could put out a wave of figures that would also fit this set, with figures like, electro, vulture, rhino, miles morales, kraven, venom and carnage, for the baf it would be sandman. Then they could add a two pack of Peter Parker and Eddie Brock. That’s my thought for the next haslab set
That's a great idea. Although I think your wave of figures is too stacked for Hasbro to actually make but it would sell so fast if they did.

A HasLab could be a remake of the old ToyBiz Sinister 6 pack. I think that had 7 figures in it with spiderman. That could be cool.

While I would love the next Haslab to feature a 90's X-Men Blackbird, I'd be willing to accept a Living Tribunal if it has to be a character instead.
I wonder if the Blackbird would too big and they would do that smaller jet thing Wolverine takes in the cartoon instead. but that probably wouldn't be as popular.

Next Haslab should be an articulated huge Devil Dinosaur with Moonboy (Moon girl too) and Savage Land Shanna, Ka-Zar and Zabu as unlock tiers.
And people could customize it to be Spider-Rex!
@@thestrongcollectors Absolutely! Just think of the possibilities! They could figure out how to swap out parts and a swap out head so you could easily make Spider-Rex. Instant Multiples sold per person. Highly articulated large Dinos are so hot right now too.
True. I feel like you would end up seeing a lot of comparisons of the Jurassic Park Dinos on clearance vs the price of a HasLab like we did with the Bratz car and the EOV.
@@thestrongcollectors Good point. How about sweetening the pot and adding either a true Savage Lands Rogue and X-Men team 5 pack, kind of a full Savage Land set? Or going another way and Just having Marvel animals like LockJaw, Hellcow, etc. which might not be as sellable.
I think if we were going to go Savage Land I'd vote for the Nasty Boys. LockJaw could end up bing a baf at some point. He'd be bigger than Cosmo but they have done a dog before

If they want to wow people and make sure it funds they need to do something like that other wise no one’s gonna go for it when you can get a wave of 7 figures with a BAF for 189. And you want me to spend 299 for a Giant man and May be four tier figure’s there smoking crack or insane so you got to figure 4 (18 - 24”) figure’s Valued at $ 65 dollars each and at that that’s only 260 dollars and that’s based on Surtur and Super Adaptiod (and adaptiod was a lazy build with hardly any effort put into him) so there gonna need hands and heads and effects or it’s not gonna fly we can’t buy a Haslab based on the tier’s that’s suppose to be a bonus well that’s what will get me to open my wallet, they got to start doing betting.
I think your math is off on how much 18-24" figures are going to cost. Super Adaptoid is $70 and 12" so something twice as big won't cost less.
I wish the next Haslab would be as huge as fans are speculating. In that case it would be an easy pass for me because just don't have much room for giant figures😅and save money at the same time😂

My Galactus is only a 9 inches, so, a weakened Galactus. I couldn't afford the Haslab one. I also couldn't afford the Sentinels. So I have tiny Sentinels.
If it is Giant Man maybe it will bring down the price of the old one for you to get. I personally still love the ToyBiz one.

I feel like he's in a similar boat as Mephisto. It makes sense but then that means he won't be out single packed if it doesn't fund.
I would love to see the next Haslab be Spider-Man themed. Maybe a large Spider-Slayer? That could be fun.
As for this round, I think the idea of an Avengers team be the CORE offering would be neat and justify a higher price (getting a team including one biggish figure). Then have characters like Jarvis be nice supporting add-ons for the tiers.
That's a great idea I didn't even think about when talking about team as the HasLab. The team is the base and then add to that. I love it.
Fin Fang Foom or A Celestial
I wonder what the response would be to a Celestial. I think if the Eternals movie had done better more people would be excited for it but I don't see it being as popular as a Fin Fang Foom.

If it’s giant man I think it would fail as I don’t see widespread demand for that figure or any logical tiers that would go with it. Even you guys had a difficult time thinking of appropriate tiers that would justify a $200-300 price point and if it’s not that much why would hasbro bother to do it ? I am not certain it is giant man so perhaps everyone will be surprised.
But if they can lower the price point like the Transformers team has it would make sense. That's probably just me trying to push me hopes though.

Yeah I don't think a 12 inch figure is going to sell for $300 but I'd drop $150 for that.
