It's not even about the candidates any more. It's about democracy or the authoritarian end of democracy. Most people are voting in self defense. Work to get out the vote. Get people registered. Drive them to the polls. Let them know what is at stake.

I DON'T CARE if Biden had a bad night at the debate. We've all had bad nights, either at home or at work. I've had a bad night at work. Grant you, for me to have someone ask me to quit my job would have meant that I messed up REALLY bad. Did Joe mess up that bad in the debate? So next time ask yourself the same question -- should I leave my job over one bad day?
I'm going to guess that answer would be NO. We should give Biden the same leeway.

I would take Biden in a coma over trump. However, polls are going the wrong way. Multiple choice exams would confirm if Biden has a cognitive deficit or a verbal deficit. They are two different things. More public appearances are just going to make Biden look worse either way. We need answers from professionals, not arm-chair psychologists.
Perhaps Biden could challenge trump to history and government quiz contests (with multiple choice answers) Then voters would see how much wiser he is. It would also make for instant fact-checking of crump.

The fundamental issue isn't Biden's record, which is remarkable--it's his fitness for duty. The debate performance wasn't the first indicator he may not be up to the task. Biden should undergo cognitive and neurological testing and release the results to the public. He needs to perform in unscripted settings, no teleprompters or handlers involved, to restore confidence in him.
And Trump is fit for duty? Do you mean the former "Napper in Chief'? The former "Golfer in Chief'? The former "Seller of America"? in chief?
