I had a dream about dis place before I knew it existed. I wanna go here aaaayyyyy
I loved this almost one year ago, it's really warm and approximately 5ft deep or less. You can enter without standing in your costume outside this is because there's a walk through door which is already in the water. So if you're worried about the getting in and out there' no need worry. If you love water you'll love it and it snowed which was magical.
The Blue Lagoon is definitely on the bucket list

I'm from Iceland and have been to the lagoon since childhood. It sure is a nice place. Your skin feels so soft and nice for like a week after it. Now they have nice shower stalls for privacy and so on. I've only been in summer for past years and just soak there and enjoy a cold beer.
I’ve been there!!! It was such an amazing experience!! I love the face mask thing and the water temperature😍😍 I really miss Blue Lagoon and i recomend that everyone should visit it! It’s worth it!!

Haha. We dont bathe in lagoons or do anything that tourists would do. I am an icelander and i have never been to the blue lagoon. Iceland is a fairly normal place for my people if anything most of us are tired to see mountin after mountin and wish we instead had beatiful open fields.

What she’s not telling you is that in order for you to have a wristband you can scan for drinks, you need to purchase the luxury package which reputedly costs $500. Also, although the mud does have healing effects, you would to need to undertake a long term treatment to see a significant benefit

I was there last June, absolutely beautiful. however, you're only allowed 3 drinks with the wristband while in the lagoon.
Margie F you can have more than 3 drinks.. but only 3 alcoholic drinks for safety reasons :)
They don't want people getting too drunk and sick/crazy or in danger i suppose.
Because they don't want chavs making themselves at home lol look what's happened to Magaluf, Ibiza and Corfu. Ruined by idiots who don't know their limits.

no i have ben there once there is actually tiny rocks in the bottom but the water is very salty that might be the reason

Hi Maddie, The water in the blue lagoon averages 37-39 °C (99-102 °F). It's not going to burn you. It should feel somewhere between warm and hot. Hope that helps.

It’s barely dirty at all. There’s no fish, which also means there isn’t fish shit. I swim in my local lake all the time (I live in Michigan what do you expect) and it’s full of fish, people, beaches and boats and it’s not clean at all, but I’m fine all I have to do is take a shower afterwards and I’m fine. I even accidentally swallow a lot of water and never got sick from it. Here you’d be fine even if you didn’t take a shower and you wouldn’t smell bad afterwards.

Im from Iceland. And the Blue Lagoon is not natural thing. Its flow away hot water from boreholes from a nearby heating plant. So what I've been saying for years, why not make more of those lagoons in other places in Iceland. Why let a single company just monopolize on this ?
