I've had many injury's.
I have learnt on thing soft blows cut more harder ones your skull bends and flexs as it's ment to and for whatever the reason tends to bleed less
In reality for it to be a setup the crew wouldn't allow it it could go horribly wrong

I don't know if it's a joke or not but I remember Jeremy once said that Hammond grew up in farm and was familiar with farming vehicles. It was in the sports lorry episode iirc

I don't want to say that Hammond or May are any sort of actual mechanics, but Hammond is pretty decent wrenching on car stuff and May seems decently capable as well. It's just Clarkson that seems to be a half wit when it comes to doing really any sort of physical labor lol.
Hammond can drive damn near anything. Whether or not he can drive them well or safely is a different question entirely.
These 3 make one of the greatest comedy skit shows of all time, and it honestly seems like they always say "Ah hell with the risks, lets just see what happens" and that always makes it 100x better. Cheers and much love world wide.
