My aunt still has this same system in her bedroom in Pristine shape! I have an Pioneer system similar to this build and shape. You cant beat the full sound of these big systems.

There is a lot of high end staff now that was not availablle before. or you can get something old but very nice for a fraction of the price. We live in a very groovy audiophile period, except if you want a Marantz with needles, than you have to pay :D
Not really. These days I don't use cd,tape or vinyl and I do use DAB and High Res FLAC. So I bought components to do that from Marantz and it will shit all over this.
Beautiful gorgeous sony midi size Hifi component system. .nice thing about this system is that very early 90s sony made a stereo system like this combined with pre amplifier, and a powerful separate amplifier. .all those technology only Japan can do it ..iam a big fan of sansui but I love just looking at this system playing. .so elegant really beautiful. fantastic awesome sound.
We're in desperate need of quality gear like this in 2020. This quality costs a tonne these days and even the expensive stuff usually colours the sound or is tuned too much for bass heavy music, leaving stuff sounding muddy. These Sony systems are versatile af and can produce great sound with any genre. We need to preserve these machines as proof that good audio was attainable once without a recording studio price point.
I went to buy a home theater system, I was unable to find anything decent, most of them are sound bars which suck so bad! 5.1 home theaters are not available in a decent price anymore and obviously a hifi stereo like this is impossible to find.
While I also find this very cool as I grew up in the late 80's this in no way has "better quality sound" than modern systems. I'm sure it sounds great but it doesn't hold a candle to modern electronics and speakers.

Remember my old hifi system Pionner 😍 (PL-Z82 ; PD-Z72T ; F-Z92L...) bought in 1990's near 1200-1300 euros today. It had surrounding hp and wide effects (can add 4 more hp) and had a 2 discs DVD Player. Still works well today. 😉 Sound better than my LG Soundbar 2540...
Amazing hi-fi products was built in past in special 80's and 90's. I was audiophile from childhood and my Panasonic Technics hi-fi audio line from home is used and I want to change with another one. I prefer vintage audio systems, sound much better than nowadays hi-fi systems. In my country I found only very used and in bad condition hi-fi lines. From where can I buy a hi-fi audio system like this in good condition and untouched in service? Thank you.

I bought the exact LBT 925 Sony System and Speakers on the back of this video... a proper awesome system. I even sourced the same CD just to hear this played directly rather than over an iPad speaker. Believe me, there are worth hunting down.

I really wish that Sony continued making such systems. I have grown up with one LBT A590. Only the tuner and amplifier works with a very few buttons still functioning. The speakers however are perfect and even after 23 years, the system does bang. I do keep praying that Sony comes back to India with the LBT series again. Nothing can replace the Sony sound.
