Resistivity is one of the most important logging tools in formation evaluation. In this video, I elaborate on the Dual Dual Laterolog-Micro Spherically Focused Logging Tool, which is a resistivity log used for conductive drill muds (e.g., brine water-based drill mud). You will also learn how to estimate Rw and Rmf from the resistivity log data.

Why did the MSFL reading (which is supposedly for the second package of tools that are used in the NON-conductive mud | minute 42:11) come with the ILM and ILD readings (which are used in the case of the conductive mud as they are induction readings)?

SFL is for non-conductive muds. This part of the lecture focuses on estimating Rw and Rmf. This slide was an example of estimating Rw and Rmf for non-conductive mud.
