Assuming it's "perfectly clear" and "pure" water... what we're seeing is light refracting (bending) when it moves from one density (say, air) to another (say, water). So we don't actually see water we see the transition between water and air. If you go under water you can see bubbles (air!) and the surface (air again!), because, in reality, it's not meaningfully different seeing water from air (like a glass of water on your desk) than it is to see air from water (a big bubble in a fish tank).
Me: *eating pizza while watching this sketch*

Me: *confused* "Wait what..." *glances down at slice of pizza* ....... *GASP* 🤯

The whole time I was like, "Ok, that's kind of an interesting fact." And then she mentioned the fact about the pizza, and I thought, "Huh? The inside🤨...out😲😱🤯."

@@NumbToons We slice up pizza into triangles but before that it's a circle as a whole. And after we slice it we eat from the small edge side to the crust, which is actually the center of the whole circle pizza. So we're eating the whole pizza inside-out. Starting from center to crust.

I was eating pizza while watching this. It got me good.
I know this feeling. This one time I realized that because of the effect of mass bending space time around itself space time fastens in the void in between celestial bodies meaning time moves slower past the keiper belt than here. Meaning theoretically if you where able to escape our slower system 24 hours would feel longer due to the time dilation.
