I think your videos on Hmong/Miao people always get a large number of views because a lot of us from the United States are really curious where we come from. I'm sure, most views come from us. Most of us who are now in the United States only know we came from somewhere in China then migrated southeast during many years of war. We have little to no knowledge of our heritage before the separation in China. But these videos inspire me to reach out to the Miao people because I think that's where you can really trace back where they migrated from.

Thank you for showing interest in my people. Black, White, Red, Green, Flowery, and Stripe Hmong are common in Vietnam. Main difference are the clothes they wear, not just by the color but style as well. Their Hmong dialects are slightly different too. However, they can communicate to each other for the most part. Rituals are slightly different as well, such as, marriage and burial. Rituals also vary slightly between clans even if clans are from the same Hmong group.

Stop calling Hmong people Miao we are not Cat…

The word Miao in Mandarin is not "cat." Mao in Mandarin is "cat." It was SEA that got the 2 confused, so they started calling us "Meo." Vietnam calls us "H'mong." Pronounced "Ha mong." Which is better than just "mong." Because "mong" in Vietnamese is "butt." Lol. Stop tripping over little things or things you don't understand. Educate yourself and stop following the gullible.
