I think you guys are overacting. It's still waaay early yet. There's still tons of time left to target a big man and bring in good transfers. There are still good players who haven't even entered the portal yet. They'll sign a promising front court player, eventually. I have very little doubt.
Trey Townsend can play but he isn’t tough enough for Izzo. He’s a solid player.

He’s a nice player, but Izzo like the ball to be in his Guards hands and Trey wants to be a #1 option and that not Izzo offense style. That’s why Izzo isn’t looking to take him. Izzo SF, PF and C hands to hit the boards and knock down midrange shoots. Because, Izzo is a Guard demanding offense. No disrespect to Trey Townsend. He wants the spot light and that’s not MSU thing.

I trained Kalin Lucas, Durrell Summers and Derrick Nic, I think he could be a good fit. He’s not going to be a number option in Izzo offense? That’s why Izzo not looking to sign him. I know more about MSU program than you know guy. I attended MSU when Steve Smith and Monty was playing. So, you have the right to you opinion! Have you played D1 hoops anywhere. Trey Townsend showed a lot college coaches he can play at a high level. Why isn’t Izzo interested in taking a player in the state? He can’t sell the kid on playing a role? Trey, wants to be a 1 or 2 option and MSU has a lot talented guards waiting for their opportunity.
@@OrEe87 if he’s a decent player, he’ll find a nice school. But, it won’t be MSU. Izzo runs a guard oriented offense. I trained several Spartans basketball, he’s 6’6 that’s a SF in Izzo offense. Is he better the 55? Is he Draymond? Zebo? A.P? Jaren Jackson?

Tom Izzo 100% is now on the HOT SEAT. How can you not say Izzo isn’t on the hot seat when they were a TOP 5 PRESEASON TEAM last season, and they lost AT HOME to James Madison to start the season, I DON’T CARE if James Madison was good, you CAN’T lose to a mid major AT HOME, especially when you were a TOP 5 TEAM. Tom Izzo is now becoming Coach Cal where he has so much talent and he has won ONLY ONE TITLE. Cal and Izzo are the MOST OVERRATED coaches in CBB. And BOTH have done HORRIBLE in the transfer portal in this era in CBB
