This time I reacted to my favorite KZ Tandingan and her cover of Royals. This is actually my favorite performance from her on vocal coach reacts! I honestly love how amazing her arrangements are and absolutely adore her energy! No wonder my double Jessie J loves her tons too!

She used to sing higher notes. That's true! She developed her own style because her vocal chords can no longer reach that high notes. She's is injured but still able to establish her own turf. She is genius and truly talented performer.
Actually even if English is not our native language, most of us can still speak fluent English because it's our second language + English is a part of our curriculum.
same here! I grew up in school where english was taught since I was approx 6-7 yo. Still our internal feeling of language and phrasing is different majorly. I really appreciate her for killing it like this. It doesnt mean she is not good at english!

Kz is a little woman with such powerful voice, she's badass on stage but totally kind, sweet and funny off stage. if you hear her sing personally you'll get goosebumps on your goosebumps. I know it coz she and i we're schoolmates back in college.
KZ doesn't forget where she came from....because of the R...sounds.... 😂 Bisaya Filipinos here are so proud...
She has a reaaally nifty arrangement for this song. Fits her very well. She is quite a rock singer.

KZ is an innovative singer who does not solely rely on the original arrangements of a song but does it her own. In this rendition, she intentionally did a different pronunciation as the word "proud" and others to provide a more attractive sounding befitting the song. KZ is one of my favorite Filipina singers, the other two being Katrina Velarde and Morissette Amon.

When she auditioned for the Voice Philippines, i predicted right away that she wud be the champion. She is so unique and brave
I truly agree with you. KZ is the first Filipino artist who exposed her unique strategy in unpredictable transmission of unifying one song to another level (meaning combining different ways to make it the audience wonder what's the next she will do to make the song as hers). I rarely appreciates a singer, but when I watch n heard her/him sings that is sooooo different it is a special gift she/he has. There are three Filipino singer can sing and composed are Jose Mari Chan (his christmas songs), Gary Valenciano and KZ (both can rapped and others technique in singing). Check Gary Valenciano in his concert videos, religion songs (Sa Yaweh) n him singing in the bus studio.
Actually, KZ is very friendly and funny. I really like her!
