One of the best trimmers I’ve ever used. Might even be the best. Gets a little louder over time but nothing too crazy.

@@FofXequalsYnot No idea! I wish they were all quiet. This one is still my go-to, and the noise isn’t bad. As long as you oil the inside of the blade where the cam follower is it stays relatively quiet

These things hit straight up . They cut good out the box . But if u bring the cutting blade up a little more zero than factory bingo turn to magic... I've never had a trimmer hit like these maybe it's the blade but they hit and don't nick at all.. they never pull or get caught up because they're powerful.. ur gonna feel the power once u cut them on, feel strong like corded.. then the shape with the metal body feel 100% professional... if u don't like them return no problem but give them a shot bet u won't return em... no I'm not paid ijs

Do charge before I first use it and how long does it take to charge
I usually just charge it full then start using it. Not sure how long it takes. Usually about have of the battery life

I was finally able to get my hands on the Saber trimmers and did 19 haircuts with them yesterday; as much hype as they have had me worries BUT as far as I’m concerned everything else will just take a backseat now. I have the troll trimmer with the psycho blade but that ain’t the saber imo. So, after that rambling… my question is: is this trimmer a big difference than the troll with the same blade? 🤔 I love to support TPOB when warranted but I can’t imagine reaching for anything other than the saber at this point 😅
This is better than the troll imo with the brushless motor but you’re right not much compares to the saber

Picked up the black pair and was really disappointed out of the box. I don't know if the green hits harder or what despite having the same blade, but yeah I copped mine from Amazon and was not impressed. Gonna stick to my Gold FX for now. I will come back to these when someone makes a 0 gap tool.
They must just not be set right. The fx blade setter should set these

That’s tough. Honestly sabers may be slightly better but the X is sick. Depends on which color and shape you prefer. Can’t go wrong with either

@@Seancutshair tpob x is practically cocco pro bldc. X comes with the psycho blade but can interchange to cocco pro bldc's digital gap blade.
It’s a still FX blade with a SC “the one”cutting blade.

I've noticed the barber subreddit LOVES Wahl and Andis and calls TPOB/Gamma/SC cheap rebranded machines. Not everyone though

@@eerc0 most of the TPOB/Gamma/SC stuff all comes from the same factories, true. They definitely don’t feel as nice in the hands as the old brands, but I would argue that if it’s so easy to make these machines that outperform them, why aren’t the big companies improving their performance? I’d rather use a cheap feeling tool that does the job than a weak tool that feels like better quality in appearance only.

No way in hell would I pay a penny over $35 for this trimmer🥱 had the mini skull wouldn’t hold charge had the troll clipper when zero gapped the blade would shift to the left after opening then closing I’m sorry but quality control just isn’t there for this brand
What's up Rich? What's your go to clipper and trimmer these days? I'm still rocking the Bayliss gold fx trimmer. It's a laser! No issues other than the sound but I'm used to it by now. Picked up a stylecraft rogue and love it so far. Shaver I'm using a fx02 but thinking about the stylecraft rebel. Or the fx03
